Which cycle day did you conceive on please?

Just wondering for anyone with an ‘average’ cycle length do any of you know which cycle day you conceived on?

If you take average as 28-30 days I think most people conceive around day 14/15 but really there are so many different cycle types. I conceived my first on cycle day 23/24. I had previously always had a 32 day cycle with a short LP, but we still managed fine.

It's almost impossible to pinpoint conception as such, even if you know exactly when you ovulate you might never know when the egg and sperm actually bumped into each other. Generally though the egg will only survive 12-24 hours from ovulation so sometime within that time frame conception should occur. Sperm can live inside the uterus for 5-7 days, if conditions are right. Knowing when you ovulate is the more important date 👍

Ovulation believed to be day 16 so around that time

I know exactly when I ovulated as used OPK. We conceived on either CD 13 or 14. It was only the once so I know it was this occasion. I'm now just under 5 weeks pregnant.

Well I thought it would have been around day 14/15 after I had EWCM but at dating scan they dated my pregnancy 5 days further on than I thought I was. Which would have put me at day 11.

Thanks for the replies! We DTD on days 10 and 18 of my average 28 to 30 day cycle. Not actively trying but wouldn’t be the end of the world. Guess I’m just clutching at anything in this two week wait!

I’m gonna do another test in a few days time but just wondering what people’s thoughts are on this test please?

Wow. That's positive! Congratulations. Ha, love that you dtd twice and succeeded. We dtd about 8 times in a week and I'm pretty sure we're about to get a bfn 🤦‍♀️Just goes to show!
