Positive first response then negative

Hi there just hoping anyone can shed some light on first response tests ..... I am currently 11dpo and tested this morning with a frer, a light positive pink line came up after a couple of minutes and I couldnt believe my eyes, so had another frer and decided to retest just to make sure with same urine and it came back negative... now I dont know whether to believe the negative of the positive, has anyone had this happen before?

Do you have a photo of the positive test? I am in a similar situation with a FRER and not knowing if it's a positive or indent/ evap

Oh I don't know then! It strange you used the same urine and it was different. Only suggestion would be to try again tomorrow morning? FRERs are so expensive though gr

I can definitely see your line .... did it come up within the 10 minutes? I would say that is promising!

Mine was within around 5 mins I would say so I'm hopeful but I don't know how common it is to get evap or indent lines with FRERs? Mine does have colour so 🤞

Aww that would make sense about not being able to upload my photo, I'd say mines is darker.I can definitely see lines on both of yours will keep everything crossed for you both! I'm so fed up not knowing if I am or not already ha ha just want to knownone way or other.will post my photo up when it allows me x

Planing on testing tomorrow when AF is due. How many Dpo are you?

@mumof23188 I'm not too sure as my cycles are really irregular (and long!) and this was the first month of not using opks! I'm going to say 13dpo maybe 12! Fingers crossed for us

Have you done another test op?

I done an asda one and it came up a faint positive and have just done a clear blue this morning and can barely see anything so I'm guessing that I'm not as I would have thought it would have came up on the clear blue with a good line by now.so fed up testing so going to have a little break and see if period comes or not.Are you ladies any further forward with testing?x

I didn't get a clear line til 13dpo with my DS. Don't give up hope yet OP!!

@CrazyDaisy25 sorry you haven’t had a clear answer. When is your AF due? I also didn’t get a clear positive til I was 13dpo with my last baby. I’m going to test today, don’t have any tests In the house so will go and buy some shortly. AF is due for me today!

My internet cheapies came yesterday so I tested this morning and there doesn't seem to be anything :( tempted to get another FRER for tomorrow but it's a waste of money when I have 14 IC in the drawer! No sign of my period though so there could be hope 🤞

@Olivia2020 IC aren’t good for everyone. They’ve never given me a clear line until really late. Sorry you got BFN 😩

@mumof23188 how late did you get a positive with IC?
