11 days late BFN

Had my implant removed 5 weeks ago to try for a second baby. Shark week was raging at the time. No sign of a period this month, did a test the day it was due and potentially had a very faint second line. Squint in a particular light kind of line. All other tests since have been BFN. Has anyone been in this situation before? How would a pregnancy even be dated if I were to get a BFP in the next few weeks? No spotting or anything like that. I was convinced I was pregnant for a bit but the feeling has passed to be perfectly honest. Not in any particular hurry just would rather shark week made an appearance in a more timely manner if it's coming so I'm not left in some kind of limbo.

The first few cycles after coming off contraception can be a bit wonky while your body gets used to doing everything again. Can I suggest reading Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler? It talks about basal body temperature tracking and explains what goes on in the body during a cycle, it's really informative and helps you understand when you are late versus when you are having a long cycle. If you got a BFP before you had a natural bleed (as opposed to a withdrawal bleed), they would use the date of withdrawal bleed until the scan confirmed the true gestational age
