Implantation bleeding or early period?

Hi everyone

Been off the pill for over 6 months and have had consistent 27/28 day cycles all year never less. I didn’t track my ovulation this month (typical!) but I’m on CD 23 and have got some lighter blood. I haven’t had period cramps but I have been feeling sickly the last few days, put it down to the weather. Could this be implantation bleeding - if so what’s everyone’s experience of this and how long until I can do a test?

any advice welcome ☺️

Shamelessly bumping Grin I had nothing overnight but a little pink when I wiped this morning hoping it doesn’t turn into AF. Caved and did a cheapie this morning came back BFN I’m not surprised though I’m sure it’s way too early. Anyone else experienced something similar?

Sorry, I know this was posted days ago but this is my experience:

27 day cycles

CD22
Thick beige/very light brown CM in underwear.
Start of small amount of light pink watery spotting when visiting the toilet. (This dripping usually tells me I will be on my period the following day but this would have been 5 days early).

CD23
Small light pink watery spotting continued only when visiting the toilet.

CD24
Same as CD 23

CD25
Same as CD 23 and 24
BFN FMU

CD26 (today)
No pink spotting at all
Some thicker yellow tinged CM when visiting toilet on one occasion
BFN (very diluted urine as I couldn't hold it well)

Do you have any updates from your experience? X

I'm in a similar position as the both of you. CD26 and been spotting brown since CD24. Cycles are on average 29 days and sometimes spot the day before. Not currently tracking ovulation, but is normally CD17-20.

This is so odd and tested BFN on cheapies this morning. But is likely too early anyway.

The only thing I'm worried about is that this is similar to how cycle 5 and I had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks.

@mondray the most similar experience that I had to this was also after a chemical pregnancy however I spotted for only one day before having a faint positive at 12dpo. I then came on at what would have been only 4.5 weeks with negative tests.

13dpo today but no BFP Sad. I am hoping that I am remembering correctly when I say that with my first (now 4 years old), my BFP came the day or so after my period due date but the cycle before we conceived him, I also had a chemical where the BFP came before my missed period. I am hoping there is a pattern and that is why I don't have a BFP yet, but I'm definitely just getting my hopes up too much! Hahaha. What will be will be. X

@FebruaryJuly
It's so frustrating isn't it and it's so hard to not get your hopes up when something is out of the ordinary.

I was thinking we were completely out of it as not done the deed enough. Plan was to just relax and not think of pregnancy this month as it was unlikely to happen.
But here I am panicking and symptom spotting and still not due for 2-3.

I have basically convinced myself I'm pregnant 😂.

Have you had any symptoms other than the spotting?

FebruaryJuly · 18/08/2020 21:44

@mondray painful boobs, aching thighs and also started having hot flushes, sweats and feeling nauseous today but not sure if I am just playing tricks on myself Confused

mondray · 18/08/2020 22:20

@FebruaryJuly
That sounds promising. I've never heard about aching thighs being a symptom though.

I have also had sore breasts but that's it. I don't know if it's in my head or if it's more painful than it would be normal at this time of month.

FebruaryJuly · 19/08/2020 01:29

@mondray aching thighs is the thing that my mum said made her know that she was pregnant with all four of us early on. I have Google's it and it isn't as common as other symptoms but does happen xx

Cosmo29 · 19/08/2020 17:41

Hi sorry I forgot to update on here! Unfortunately it turned into full AF which is super frustrating considering I’m never early and this was the first month in ages I didn’t check my bloody ovulation! Oh well onto the next month

@FebruaryJuly that sounds really promising with the symptoms - you’re not out til AF arrives as they say!
@mondray it’s so hard not to get hopes up, I felt like that this month, didn’t log ovulation to try and be relaxed then as soon as you feel something different I convinced myself I was pregnant without even ‘trying’.. Have you tested yet?

Wishing you both lots of luck x

@Cosmo29 AF arrived for me today as wellSad After 4 days of tiny spotting and one day of nothing, I don't know why my body plays these tricks on me... it has never done this to me until we started TTC, it's like it is just teasing me for a joke Sad
