Hi so this is cycle 2 of ttc.

Last month I felt like I tried to soon in my cycle as I was using clear blue advanced digital which told me I ovulated at like cycle day 5 which I don’t think I was .
I have regular cycles on average lasting 30 days .

I am currently on cycle day 12 and I have notice my cervix is higher and feels a lot softer and I’m also starting to feel a lot wetter but not got ewcm yet. I have also used some amazon cheap opks (wondflo ) which have come back negative this morning.
I have also used ovulation predictor calculators and each one gives me different days I should be ovulating which is confusing some said I should have started trying a few days ago and some are saying I won’t be ovulating for another week .
It’s all so confusing , so what I’m asking is should I be trying like now am I coming into my 5 day window or am I still to early?

Sorry for the long post it’s just very confusing and I don’t want to miss my fertile time.

Hello - the best way to confirm it would be by tracking basal body temperature. Second best might be cheap OPK sticks as you can pee on those daily without it costing you a fortune. Based on your CB results on CD5, I'm thinking you may have had multiple peaks of LH that cycle - but remember it's only the last one that results in ovulation, so using cheap OPKs you could carry on testing until you're confident it was the real surge.

Saying that - if you have a cycle of 30 days, odds are your LP is between 10-16 days. So to be on the safe side, assume it's 16 days long with ovulation therefore on CD14. That would put you firmly in the FW right now, and I would DTD every other day (minimum) until CD20 at this point, to guarantee that you've covered ovulation. Hope that helps!
