Hi @KxAxH I’m 38 and ttc my fourth.
I’ve had 3 previous c sections. The last one being 5.5 years ago.
I had no issues falling pregnant with any of my previous pregnancies, in fact with each of them it took a max of 3 cycles.
The pregnancies were all straightforward and easy with no complications due to previous sections.
My first section was an emergency one, the second 2 were elective and wonderful experiences.
During My third section the registrar did say I had a lot of scar tissue build up to cut through and the procedure took slightly longer due to this, they had to take their time cutting through as they didn’t know where my bladder was. Once they were done they ran due through my bladder to make sure they hadn’t cut anything by accident.
But all was fine.
I’m currently now in cycle 11 ttc number 4, but I suspect this is largely down to my age rather than anything else. I did suffer a miscarriage at 9 weeks in January of this year, and then 2 chemical pregnancies after that so I know I can still fall pregnant, but as I said I suspect my eggs are no longer of the best quality.
I now take folic acid, vit d, and ubiquinol which is supposedly great for improving egg quality.
I do panic slightly about the scar tissue being even worse fourth time around (if I end up lucky enough to have another baby), but what will be will be.
Good luck with your journey, and don’t worry about having had 2 sections, I’ve spoken to women that have had way more than me. Assuming all went well with your previous 2 then I’d see no reason to be worried at all.
