@sansa87 how are you getting on? Hope AF hasn't shown for you 🤞

whambam89 · 24/08/2020 21:36

@claireb707 hope you get some answers! X

Sansa87 · 25/08/2020 05:22

@whambam89 no af, but biggest bfn I ever did see this morning.

Sansa87 · 25/08/2020 06:19

FUUUUCK!

I need af to come now if it’s going to come... our fertile week is the week we are staying in a cottage with his parents, his auntie, his uncle, & his cousin 😅🙈

It’s going to ruin our holiday because I know I’ll get shitty when we have zero opportunity to try, and knowing our luck the room we are in will have squeaky floorboards so neither of us will be comfortable.

Again, I repeat... FUUUUUUCK!

@sansa87 if it was implantation then it'll take a couple of days before your HCG levels are high enough for a BFP - I feel like you might have got lucky! 🤞

Sansa87 · 25/08/2020 07:52

@whambam89 every so often I feel like that too, but these are pretty intense cramps. I even googled about whether implantation hurts more after the surgical management, but no one is as crazy as me because I found no one asking 😅😅

Feeling quite nauseous, but I know it’s because I’m hot and wearing a mask, and my cervix now feels like it’s on fire.

Enough about me, how are you guys doing? X

MrsBtobe2020 · 25/08/2020 07:58

@sansa87 really keeping everything crossed for you now! Before my cycle was extended for 2 weeks, my fertile period was supposed to be right when oh was away for 4 days so I was hoping my body knew that and extended it on purpose

LT103 · 25/08/2020 08:03

Fingers crossed for you @Sansa87!!

I’m officially in the 2ww! Although ovulating a week late means I’m technically not testing now until September but I’ll hang around here until there’s a September thread haha

I’ll probably test around the 3rd

89Ann · 25/08/2020 08:12

Fingers crossed for you @Sansa87 like the others said if you ovulated then AF should not come yet regardless so your symptoms seem positive & it’s not surprising it was a BFN at 8 dpo. I am also 8 dpo and really trying not to symptom spot and obsess, and failing miserably of course!

89Ann · 25/08/2020 08:34

Omg, I am bleeding at 8dpo 😬 someone help calm me down I have never bled this early and none of normal AF symptoms? I have a funny feeling in my tum but not AF cramps?! Its light pink at the mo

claireb707 · 25/08/2020 08:39

@89Ann implantation?

OP posts:
89Ann · 25/08/2020 08:43

@claireb707 well that was what first popped in my head, cd23 ov was cd 15. Checked my apps and never had any spotting before cd 27 in the 10 months I have been off pill (only been ttc for the last 3) and always have headaches for a day or two before. Oh god this has really gotten my hopes up 🙈

Sansa87 · 25/08/2020 08:55

Eeeeeep good luck @89Ann

And good luck for the phone call @claireb707

claireb707 · 25/08/2020 09:06

He's just rang 😢 good motility but very low count. He's been told to book in for testosterone bloods and we'll see what we can do after that. But it's very very unlikely we'll conceive naturally 😢😢

89Ann · 25/08/2020 09:31

Oh @claireb707 I am really sorry to hear that 😢 sending you lots of love x

Sansa87 · 25/08/2020 09:49

@claireb707 that sucks. Sending you hugs.

It’s not going to help you at all just yet, but eventually I hope you can think that this is an answer, and means you know where you stand, & can look at options.

One of my dear friends has just had her second baby via ivf

Also, please allow yourself to grieve. I know when my ex received the same news, I felt guilty for feeling I lost a baby. And he was an asshole who kept saying I wasn’t allowed to be sad because it wasn’t me.

Lots of love xx

claireb707 · 25/08/2020 09:55

Just wish we would have known this a year ago so we wouldn't have wasted a year. We could be a lot further on in the process than we are now 😢
I am upset but I'm more upset for him, it's obviously a big shock to him. I suspected that I would have Issues due to my long term health conditions but I appear to be functioning 'nornally' (don't like that wording but can't think what else I can say)

OP posts:
LT103 · 25/08/2020 11:02

@claireb707 sorry to hear that. Hope you get a plan sorted soon. At least you know now and can hopefully now look at your options x

MrsB2019x · 25/08/2020 11:15

Oh @claireb707 I’m so sorry to hear that. Like the others have said, now you know where you stand and you can get the ball rolling with options. Sending you big hugs x

@89Ann That sounds exciting!! Got everything crossed for you!

@Sansa87 BFN isn’t surprising at 8DPO, easy for me to tell you though when I was testing at 8DPO last month too 😂 I really have everything crossed for you x

MrsB2019x · 25/08/2020 11:18

CD13 for me today and had boatloads of EWCM this morning so FW is underway! I don’t think I’ll do OPK’s this month as I’ve got enough to stress over with the house, let alone adding in OPK’s 3x per day!

Sansa87 · 25/08/2020 13:08

Sorry, think im 9dpo atm, which is obvs still stupidly early, but not impossible.

I definitely didn’t get like this last time. It almost feels like burning cramps? If I hadn’t been so far post surgery I’d worry it was some sort of infection

Sansa87 · 25/08/2020 17:47

My temperature has gone up... not doing basal temps, but I’m usually 36 degrees, up to 37.4 today... can you get a post surgery infection 4 weeks after? Would explain the pain, & how sometimes it feels like it’s burning

MrsBtobe2020 · 25/08/2020 19:22

@sansa87 I would definitely keep an eye on your temp and any other changes you're noticing. Id say to speak to gp if you're getting burning pains just in case?

whambam89 · 25/08/2020 22:11

@claireb707 sorry to hear that, but like the others have said at least you've finally got some answers and can start with a plan hopefully. I imagine how frustrating it must be for you that this wasn't picked up sooner.

@sansa87 I would keep an eye on your temp and any other infection symptoms, how many weeks post surgery are you now?

Sansa87 · 26/08/2020 05:13

@whambam89 4 weeks! Which is why I’d think I was in the clear now 🙄

Omg it’s early 😩😂 when can I retire?
