Tamoxifen for ovulation

Hi everyone, just wanted to hear about your experiences with tamoxifen for ovulation. Was it successful? I had a molar pregnancy in January and then diagnosed with ashermans and had surgery and just found out I’m also now not ovulating anymore. So they said I can’t take clomid as it thins the lining so have prescribe tamoxifen instead.

I've taken tamoxifen as part of a natural modified IVF cycle - I ovulate normally but it was used to stimulate follicle growth

It does have the opposite effect though in that it can make the lining TOO thick! So I didn't take it for my final egg collection and embryo transfer

@ivfdreaming Ah okay. Yeah I can’t seem to find much on people using it for ovulation induction. It seems people use it as part of ivf cycles but with other drugs.

I am on my second of three months of tamoxifen for fertility. It’s so hard to find information from experience so I’ll add my experience so far. I’ve already had two rounds of clomid, unsuccessfully. My Specialist was going to try me a third time but I did confirm that clomid stimulated dermatitis on my face which I’d never experienced before so he is trying me on tamoxifen. It definitely hasn’t brought on the same skin issues but my first cycle on it was 4 days Late when this year they’ve been the most regular they’d been for a while. Those four days were excruciating. Obviously tested and BFN when 3 days late. Specialist has advised its for ovulation stimulation but they don’t really know. They can’t say I’m not ovulating... even after all the tests and the prodding.
