A positive and a negative within a few hours of each other??

I’m approximately 10 dpo and stupidly couldn’t wait any longer to test. The cheapie stick has a faint line which got me all excited but the first response doesn’t even have the shadow of a line!!! Has anyone had this before? Is the cheapie stick likely to be wrong?

It may just be that you had more hcg in your urine the first time you tested, that cheapie looks a really good positive, I'd test again tomorrow or the next day if you can wait. Good luck x

@mudsweatandtears did you use fmu with the cheapie but not with the FRER?

No mid morning urine with the cheapie but I hadn’t really had a lot to drink this morning. I took the FRER after work about 3pm.

@mudsweatandtears the cheap looks like a BFP to me. You're a little early testing and therefore your HCG could be too low for anything other than FMU. Do it again tomorrow with your first wee. Fingers crossed for you!

Get a decent test. I was sure I was pregnant with DS1 (14 now) and the cheap tests said I wasn't. I got onw of the display ones and low and behold a positive result.

Well I’ve tested with fmu and it’s very faint but there’s a line there. Trying not to get my hopes up and will try not to test for a few days but I can’t promise that!!
