Hi lovely people,

I'm trying to understand my OPKs. I've recently started using the natural cycle app so it's currently saying I ovulate on CD12. Have been measuring my BBT so will wait to see in a few days. I haven't been able to identify an LH surge yet. I think it's probs at its peak CD 11. But this morning the test line was quite strong. Do you think I can put this as a positive OPK?

Thanks for your help!

Not yet, do another test later this afternoon / evening. Its better to test between 2-10pm. Its quite easy to miss your positive, I have really short lh surges. If you're temping as well you'll be able to clearly see when you've ovulated, usually you'll have a slight dip / low temperature and then a rise. The low temperature is usually your ovulation day. Good luck.

Thank you SmileWill try later. I'm thinking I may have missed it though... because I did one a few hours ago and it was really low. Is it possible that I caught the end of the surge?

Possibly, mine is definitely short and when I first started using opks I could never quite catch it. Don't worry too much though, just dtd regularly and see if you notice changes in your cervical mucus as well. I tend to get cramps around ovulation too, so that's a good indicator as well :)

Great. Thank you so much for the advice!
