How likely is it to fall pregnant on day 10 of a 28 day cycle?

I don’t track my periods but usually come on about the same time every month. I had sex on day 10 of my cycle.

Has anyone else fell pregnant by having sex on day 10?? Thanks in advance!

Not likely really. If your cycles were shorter then possible. It’s not impossible but Highly unlikely.

I think possible. I have a 27 day cycle, ovulate day 11/12 and have toddler at a result of DTD on days 9 and 10. And 5 weeks pregnant now, roughly same DTD times!

Do you know when in your cycle you ovulate? Sperm can live in fertile cervical fluid for 5 days I've read.

Not sure when I ovulate I’ve never tracked it! But I felt a bit crampy last night and we DTD on the 4th so I’m wondering if it could have been ovulation pain?

We have a 14 month old already but I don’t know what day of my cycle she was conceived either!

Not highly likely but certainly possible.
I’m almost certain ds1 was conceived after we DTD on day 8 of my cycle (I guess sperm can live a few days in the body so that must be why).
My cycle is 28-33 days long and all the tracking/tests I do indicate ovulation does happen very early for me.

Sperm can live up to 5 days so thats up to day 15 of your cycle, to me i would say definitely possible

Thank you for the advice so far

Is it normal to randomly ovulate early in different cycles? Thank you Smile

Yes, I think so. It probably depends how early compared to your average ovulation date as to whether it would be considered normal. But I think for a lot of people ovulation varies by a few days maybe, just as cycle lengths can do. Hopefully someone else can correct me if I’m wrong on that

Thanks lovely I hope so!

Hi, I conceived on CD 10 previously ☺️ It can happen 🤞🤞

chillied · 11/08/2020 18:55

I'd say very likely unless you have fertility problems ( as sperm survive for a few days) - hope you want another baby OP!
