PCOS / Clomid and Ovulation tests

Hi everyone,

New here and so lovely reading everyone’s questions and answers.

I’ve just finished my first round of Clomid (my scan is tomorrow to see if it’s worked - fingers crossed). I have PCOS and don’t get periods (my period before Clomid was induced). My doctor has said to take the Clear Blue ovulation test each day to check if I’m Ovulating but I’ve been told by previous doctors these don’t work for people with PCOS. Can anyone share any advice or help? I’m using them anyway as no harm in giving it a go but would love any feedback / further information.

I have pcos and a clomid baby. Ovulation tests didn't work for me. I had ultrasound scans to confirm ovulation but still negative tests

Thank you so much! That’s good to hear. I was surprised to hear they suggested them as thought they weren’t accurate for people with PCOS. My scan is this afternoon so hopefully it’s worked and they can help with out cycle. Thanks x
