No judgement, just wondering.
Isn't the advice not to bother with ovulation sticks etc but just to have sex every 2 or 3 days through the month?
Every thread I see, everyone seems to be tracking. Just wondered if I'm missing something.

Because not everyone has the time/energy to have sex every 2-3 days and knowing when your fertile time is, or being able to pin point ovulation lets you concentrate your efforts when it actually matters.

No point having sex every 2-3 days with a view to getting pregnant if you've already ovulated. It let's you not be in the mood for it without the guilt of wondering if you'd then be missing your chance for that month.

Exactly what previous poster said and Also it can let people know if there are issues that need addressing that could be hindering them conceiving, like not ovulating at all, or a short LP

I didn't use ovulation sticks. I just took note of when my periods were and had sex more often during ovulation. I tracked it on my Fitbit device. It worked as I conceived 2nd time with my first and 1st time with my 2nd, which are twins. I tracked it for the best chance of conceiving. Especially as I don't have the best libido so it gave me an insentive to have sex.
