Not yet I'm afraid. Test again tonight and tomorrow. Need the control line to be a similar shade or lighter than the test line

MarieClaire thank you 😊 Driving myself nuts with all this lol! This is the first.time in two months there's even been a slight 2nd line , so just wasn't sure xx

In order for it to be positive, the line on the left (test line) needs to be darker than the line on the right (control line). I’d really recommend the ‘Premom’ app, you can take a photo and it helps find the test/control ratio line to pinpoint high/peak OPKs. I’ve attached a photo of mine here so you can see :)

@Lemondropsandgumdrops thanks for the reply! The premom app is amazing!
LH has been coming and going for the last five days, was really thinking 'I just don't work properly ☹️' but finally got a decent one today! I know it's nothing really in the grand scheme of things but I'm just so relieved! Xx

Hiya, sorry to hijacked OP but may I ask, how long should we be reading the opk after? The packet says up to 30mins, I've done a few opks in the last few days, the line continues getting darker the longer its left....is this right?!

Wow - 30 seems a lot! I have some ICs that day 5-10 mins. To be honest, when positive it's generally clear within 5
RMarieClaire · 14/08/2020 12:51

But go by what your test says as I guess every test is different!

CedarFox · 14/08/2020 13:27

@Dancingfairydreams Hi 👋
I've been using the OneStep ones that say up to 10 min, but the colour progression is definitely quicker today (peak day) xx

Thanks for the replies both. Congrats on the peek @CedarFox!!

I've been using the same opks @CedarFox, just looked on amazon, you are right, it says up to 10 mins but to disregard after 30mins....I've obviously read it wrong! First time using properly 🙈 I did one last night & as the time went by it was getting darker so wasnr sure what it meant! The top 4 were all from the same sample, but at various time intervals 🤷‍♀️

Hello!
Not sure if people are still writing on this but I am confused with my OPKs and need help!
I have uploaded a picture in order of my tests:

1 - CD10 negative
2 - CD12 flashing smiley
3 - CD 13 static smiley! Positive
4 - CD 14 negative
5 - CD 15 negative
I have two clear blue ovulation sticks that I used to track it which is why I tracked right after to double check. I also wanted to double check because I have PCOS and I ovulated last cycle on CD21 so was shocked it was so early!

Do you think it’s not right and I am leading up to ovulation? I have EWCM and all the tests look similar to me (apart from CD10) ? Thanks! ☺️
