How long?

DH and I were incredibly lucky when trying for our first and got pregnant the first month we were TTC, we're now planning to start TTC DC2 but know we probably won't get that lucky again!
How long did it take people before you conceived after first starting?

Following as we are going to be in this position soon. It took 6 weeks last time and we felt so lucky!

84% of couples conceive within 12 months of starting TTC, 92% within 24 months. I'm on month 20 trying for my first so don't have an answer for myself other than >19!

10 months for the pregnancy I sadly miscarried but I wasnt looking after myself at all during that time and neither was my partner.

after miscarriage

*after miscarriage it took 4 months to conceive my dd. took folic acid and vitamins, looked after myself, no smoking etc. and so did my partner. not saying it definitely helped but it made me feel better and like I had some control over it this time.

Ds1 6 weeks and currently pregnant with DC2 which took 6 weeks... good luck! X

25 months, finally fell in early March this year and it ended in miscarriage in May. Feeling positive but somewhat exhausted with it all! Good luck.

DD1 conceived whilst on the pill.

DD2 conceived on cycle 13 of TTC. Had a chemical miscarriage on cycle 1 though.

What's a chemical miscarriage? Sorry I'm not sure of all the terminology 😣

1st conceived on the pill, 2 and 3 first month trying. I've been very lucky

We're both late 20s and fit and healthy. All the tests we've had so far have come back "normal". We haven't had a sniff of a positive pregnancy test in the 2 years we've now been trying.

Now debating getting a dog!

@lankyliscuits we have 3 cats.. 1 of which is a kitten we took in last week. Talk about filling a void 😂

19 months currently trying for our first! Trying to remain positive but sometime I struggle. We had an early miscarriage last September but nothing since. Keeping our fingers crossed! Hope you conceive soon xx

Though technically 1 month but sadly lost at 8 weeks and then immediately pregnant with second.

6 cycles for me, although I just got the BFP yesterday so it might not stick as it's very early. Best of luck to everyone still trying, I know how tough it is.

Basically, I got my BFP but my period came near enough on time. A chemical miscarriage is when the miscarriage happens really early before the egg has implanted.

4th cycle off the pill for our first 🤗
