First time using opks and first time getting a line. Been trying for baby no 2 for 7 months (fell after 3mnths with dd) so this month thought I'd give these a go. Is this dark enough or does it need to be darker for a positive??

Opk, would you say this is positive??

It's nearly there. Test a couple of times a day starting mid afternoon and hopefully you will catch your surge

No, need to be as dark or darker, but it is close, I would start dtd the over the next couple of days, probably get a peak tomorrow or Sunday, test again tonight see if it's got darker. X

Hi all, similar question please...!

I’ve attached my OPKs so far this month (today being CD17).. CD15 is definitely the darkest, but not quite positive, so I was expecting a peak either yesterday or today. However they’re just getting lighter as you can see in the pictures.

I’m now wondering whether I missed my peak (by not testing at the right time) on CD15. What do you think?

I track BBT and have done for 2 years now (although this is only month 2 of TTC). I’ve attached my chart too and the 3 high temps would maybe suggest ovulation either yesterday or today.

Would be helpful to hear what you think, so that I can change the CD15 OPK result to positive on natural cycles if that’s the most likely day / circumstance. Annoyingly I had to discard today’s temperature as I temped 2 hours earlier than normal due to being up for work at 5am!

Thanks in advance for any help and good luck in your own TTC journeys!! :)

Your cd test looks fuzzy, and look like it been took from further away, that might have something to do with it

TTC123firsttime · 07/08/2020 19:11

Thanks so much for your response!

It definitely wasn’t darker than the control line, but was pretty close. Yes agree it should have scored higher!

Do you think I should record as a positive OPK on Natural Cycles?

loveskaka · 07/08/2020 23:11

I think you should, it's the Darkest you had this month. If think the light/distance may have given it a wrong reading.
