This a positive story (so far) for all those older mums and those impatient in the tww. Myself and oh have been Ttc our third for more than a year. I concieved in April, but miscarried in May at 8 weeks. We decided to keep trying as I am already 40 and keen on another child. This month, with cycles returning to their usual 28/29 days I ovulated around cd 14, tested on cd 27 and 29 - both bfn. In previous pregnancies I have always been able to get a positive on the first day of my missed period, so I had sort of given up hope. I had no tests in the house, and busy minding my two boys (2 and 4) just let things be, except for an inkling that kept nagging.....then today, cd 33 bfp! I am very happy and hopeful for my baby. Feet up and rest all the way. I hope that story might help someone who has had similar experiences.
