Sorry to hear this, it can be so stressful. Are you tracking your cycle? Xx

Going insane after 3 months???!

Timetotry123 · 07/08/2020 00:00

3 months is not a long time. I know it seems it but hang in there. It’s been 11 months for meConfused

I felt the same as you this time last year. And for month 4 of TTC my hubby was travelling in South Africa... I remember being so mad that that month was a write off. Well month 5 of TTC was our month and now I have my DS!
I know it seems like it will never happen but try and enjoy the process and fingers crossed it will be your time soon.
I don't know if it helped or not but I used the Ovia app to make sure we were DTD at the right time, used Pre Seed, took prenatal vitamins and tried to eat healthy/minimise caffeine and alcohol etc

I know it hasn't been long, and people may think I'm being impatient... truth is I am just an impatient person unfortunately, we have been together 5 years, and I wanted a baby with him after a year, (I have a daughter of 8 years old, a beautiful surprise) and he doesnt have children of his own) after talking about it we agreed to start trying as although I knew I wanted another, he was scared, wanted it to be exactly the right time etc.... so once we decided I came off the pill and said we will just see how it goes... in the space of three months I now use ovulation tests, think I have googled everything possible, and eating as healthily as I physically can, taking all supplements as advised by my gp and I'm just so so excited. I have never planned a baby before but in my excitement I get impatient 🙄 so I completely understand why people may think god she is going insane after 3 months when you may have been trying for several more... im just so excited 😁

If you’ve wanted a baby for longer and had to wait on your partner it can be really frustrating. Hang on in there, you’re doing everything you can - fingers crossed it happens for you soon!

@Zarawantsababy I understand you completely, I feel like when some of us ladies post who have not been trying as long as other ladies we seem to get shut down. Everybody is on their own unique journey and unfortunately some are trying a lot longer than others, however, we should all say something positive or nothing at all.

I’ve been trying since January and many would say it’s not long but to me it is, especially when your approaching the other side of the year with no success ☹️

I hope you fall pregnant soon and all those ladies who are trying I pray the same for you all.

It’s hard, very hard. Other than having sex on fertile days I just don’t know what else to do to push things along 🤷‍♀️

I know that 3 months seems like a very long time, especially when you really want it to happen. I’m in a similar boat, been properly trying (opk, temping) for the last three months and before that didn’t use protection since summer last year but no tracking. I got pregnant after one single drunk night last year in May but had a MMC and lost the baby at 9 weeks. It’s even harder when it happened the first time but the pregnancy did not develop and you find yourself trying month after month, dtd every day from cd11 (I usually ovulate cd14-15) and nothing is happening...
Don’t lose hope and it will happen soon. I do opks, bbt and cm just so I know I have done as much as possible to dtd at the right time and the rest is just luck. I am due to ovulate tomorrow or Thursday so fingers crossed for us. 🙂👍

Just an update
I'm now 6dpo I had cramping and backache at 4dpo which got my hopes up then yesterday I was literally good for nothing... light cramping, the worst headache ever and felt 'sea sick' threw up twice and had a sleep then was fine, then this morning... nothing... i was so disheartened but then about 2 hours ago I started with the seasickness again... i have had to stop what I'm doing an lie down as I feel really ropey... it seems waaay too early to be getting morning sickness 😩 is it in my head? (I will add i woke up at 2am wanting ice cream and demolished a tub of ben and Jerry's cookie dough.... ) slept really well after that 🤣 any ideas?? Love and baby dust to you all xxx

5-6DPO is far too early to be feeling pregnancy symptoms. I'm sure there will be some exceptions to that rule but it seems very very unlikely.

Everything you've listed could be linked to lots of things though; Stomach bug, migraines, vertigo, inner ear infection etc.

Also if you did have an iffy tummy then filling it with a full tub of Ben and Jerrys may not have helped Grin. Hopefully you're feeling better soon Smile

Fingers crossed for you but I wouldn't consider testing until 12DPO (although 10DPO onwards may show something up if you are pregnant).
