8DPO symptoms

SR28 · 04/08/2020 19:27

I am currently 8DPO (i think) and have been getting the following symptoms:

  • Around 6DPO lower back pain like a painful period is coming and 2 tiny spots of blood
  • Last 2 days had lower tummy cramping (now stopped)
  • 2 mouth ulcers, runny nose and nose bleed
  • been exhausted but today I have energy
  • today I have noticed a small red rash on side of nipple and darker areola
  • high cervix

Has anyone else noticed the same/similar things and got a BFP or at the same stage in their cycle? Smile

Gums bleeding was my first indication with my last pregnancy, I just knew

SR28 · 05/08/2020 17:25

My gums are really sore and sting when I brush! Hoping a good sign

Not sure how early some symptoms arise but the drips of blood and the two days of pain sounds like implantation bleed/cramps. I had it in one of my pregnancies and it was like I knew that would be it. Wait until the weekend if you can (time for hCG to get there) and test. Although if it started a couple of days ago there may be enough for a faint line in the next couple of days.

Good luck!!

SR28 · 05/08/2020 17:47

@User43210 that's so reassuring to hear haha! Done a test today as I couldn't help myself but of course negative!

I will try wait till the weekend, AF should be due around Monday/Tuesday, ahhhh fingers crossed!

Thank you!!

I had the same but I’m 14dpo and tested negative yesterday

SR28 · 05/08/2020 18:50

@Shouldbedancingyeah oh no! Could you of ovulated late?

OP posts:
User43210 · 05/08/2020 18:52

@SR28 there’s no guarantees! But hopefully. From what I remember, I had the pains Tuesday and Wednesday and a positive test on Friday or Saturday. But not certain!

Fingers crossed.

User43210 · 05/08/2020 18:54

Oh also, I didn’t have the blood, just the cramps but it just felt different to usual PMS. The bleeding hints toward implantation to me.

SR28 · 05/08/2020 19:03

@User43210 it's just strange because it felt like my period was coming but a really bad one from lower back ache and then moved to lower tummy but now absolutely nothing. Did your cramping stop after implantation (if that's what it was)?

OP posts:
User43210 · 05/08/2020 19:47

@SR28 I had really intense cramping for two days and then it stopped. Partway through that third day I thought "oh maybe" and then I got the faint BFP a little later and it was pretty much confirmed that it was implantation. It was horrible (and I've had excruciating period pains, it wasn't as bad but it was certainly on the way)

SR28 · 05/08/2020 21:04

@User43210 yeah sounds the same! Will deffo test again in a few days!

Are you pregnant still now? Smile

OP posts:
User43210 · 05/08/2020 21:41

I’m pregnant again now. Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be but that has nothing to do with the implantation pains, just pure bad luck. It was a chemical pregnancy but I got pregnant the very next cycle and currently at 9 weeks.

SR28 · 05/08/2020 21:58

@User43210 I'm so sorry! I hear that is very common. But congratulations this time round Smile

Just wait. Very few women will experience symptoms so early. Most symptoms are the ones you'd usually get pre period. If there isn't enough HCG to register on a sensitive test there just isn't enough to cause symptoms.

User43210 · 06/08/2020 19:11

@indemMUND true but these two are suggestive of implantation, before hCG would rise.

  • Around 6DPO lower back pain like a painful period is coming and 2 tiny spots of blood
  • Last 2 days had lower tummy cramping (now stopped)

@User43210 I got my BFP this morning Smile

User43210 · 07/08/2020 12:20

Yess!!! So pleased to hear!! Now just wait for the nausea... Grin congratulations

SR28 · 07/08/2020 13:20

@User43210 thank you Grinnot looking forward to that!!!

User43210 · 07/08/2020 14:08

@SR28 it’ll be worth it. It’s hell knowing early though, every twinge is a paranoia. I’ve known early with all three of my pregnancies.
Just saw my little one today at 9+3 so finally not on edge for the day Grin

SR28 · 07/08/2020 14:49

@User43210 yes I am so happy but so worried at the same time, like why didn't I just wait! But I'm too impatient so fingers crossed everything will be okay.

Awwh that's so exciting, did you get a private early scan? I bet just hearing the heatbeat is the most amazing feeling!

OP posts:
User43210 · 07/08/2020 17:46

@SR28 I was the exact same. Wanted to wait but desperate to know. When we first got pregnant, it wasn’t trying but it was just seeing if it happened. So after we lost that, when I finally recovered, we wanted to go for it!
I just saw the heartbeat at my scans for this one (safer for the baby at this stage apparently) but I did hear it with my first at a different place, it was unbelievable and I hope I get there with this one because it will be amazing!

jennaxc · 17/08/2020 23:23

Sorry to jump on, I read the thread and got so invested 😆

I'm currently 11dpo and had exactly what you were both saying with the 2 days of intense cramping and nausea. When did you get a BFP? I've tested a couple of times but nothing. AF due on Friday so still hoping ...
