Not sure if I'm being mad or not. 16dpo, can see a faint line (high contrast image also attached). This would be latest AF has ever been... don't know what to think. Shouldn't it be darker?

I can definitely see it although I’ve heard Clear Blue aren’t the best tests to use.. could you get your hands on an FRER?

I would’ve thought it would be darker at 16dpo, are you sure you didn’t ovulate later?

Eloise97 · 04/08/2020 08:18

@Beepbeep42 I see a line. As suggested before get a first response test or the clear blue digital. I swear by both.... please let us know how you get on :)

Beepbeep42 · 04/08/2020 08:19

Thank you, yes I'm gonna buy a FRER then wait until tomorrow morning, I've heard this also! Last pregnancy I got a dark line by 12dpo so not getting hopes up. I got a peak OPK on CD15 so unlikely:-/ I'm on CD32.

I see a line. My sister had the exact same on clear blue, turned out she wasn't pregnant.
Heard a lot of bad about clear blue giving false faint lines.
Like the others have said get a frer or a clear blue digital. Good luck

Beepbeep42 · 04/08/2020 08:24

Thank you, I agree that it's really not clear enough to take as a positive. AF just taking her time!

Did a FRER and there is the faintest line, not my imagination, a very faint pink line but don't want to get my hopes up

When you see a positive test no matter how faint you should keep PMA, get your hopes up, you deserve it x

bellbaeu · 04/08/2020 18:06

@Beepbeep42 if I was you I would keep testing every day or every other day see if the lines progress or maybe try a clear blue weeks indicator.
Really hope it all works out for you xx

Love this response. So often we try to guard against our gut reaction of excitement to protect ourselves from possible disappointment. But think you've got it right, Neon7 - get your hopes up!! You're pregnant, you deserve to hope x

MsFrog - I see so many posts where people are posting very clear positive pregnancy tests yet still doubting if they should consider themselves pregnant. It’s the fear of what if this is too good to be true or maybe people have had chemical pregnancies and/or miscarriages so they fear it’ll happen again. Yes there’s many reasons to doubt but I think we should celebrate that moment of a positive test and shift the bad vibes, if you go on to have a healthy pregnancy then great but if you don’t, you still had the right to celebrate that moment x

OnceBitten25 · 04/08/2020 22:27

Looks promising- hope you get your BFP x

Beepbeep42 · 05/08/2020 06:56

The line is all but gone today's frer, think it's a chemical. I feel pregnant but negative test at 12dpo then faint at 16 was unlikely to turn out well Sad
