Morning guys is this ovulation test positive or does it need to be darker?

It needs to be darker - positive is as dark, or darker than the control line. I’d start testing 3x a day now as it looks like it will be coming in the next couple of days ☺️

It needs to be much darker! As dark or darker than the control line. Once it gets to this colour though I'd be testing 3 times a day so as not to miss the surge.

Hi, sorry I need help understanding these too - it’s my first cycle using them.
I’ve got the Clearblue advanced digital ovulation which picks up the 2 hormones
I’ve had high fertility since CD8 and haven’t got a peak yet. I’ve been testing in the morning as the instructions said..
Have I missed peak fertility LH surge as looking at the sticks the line appeared on day 11 (yesterday) but now getting fainter today (I tested twice today once this morning & one in the afternoon) or are these not dark enough anyway?

Hi post miscarriage, only 15 days ago. Clear blue smiley face test is blank circle, but I have had these last three days, CM watery. Am I ovulating? Thank you x

@Noni1978, I think that you are almost there but it's not your peak yet on the cheapies. Test again today as for some people (including me) it peaks really quickly and goes from almost nothing on the test to a peak within 4 hours. Get down to some dtd too today and the next few days so you can catch it.

Noni1978 · 31/08/2020 08:39

@PurpleIsTheColour Thank you so much for your reply, these test can be confusing, I never quite know when I’m at peak with them, I have ran out of clear blue (they are so expensive). I’m 42 since May and worried I haven’t got much time left, and I really want to be pregnant again asap, I think (hope) it will help cope with this mc. Thanks again X

PurpleIsTheColour · 31/08/2020 08:51

@Noni1978, I know what you mean, ttc is so stressful! I've never used the clearblue sticks, only the cheapies and have started charting my bbt as this is the only way to actually confirm ovulation and it's not costing a fortune like the sticks! Sorry to hear about your MC, I had a MMC at 9 weeks last year and a year later I still haven't seen a bfp so it can be a bit disheartening, especially if your biological clock is against you. Try to stay positive because you know what they say- we are more fertile after a MC so dtd as much as possible in next few days and hopefully you will get your rainbow baby! 🤞🤞🤞

Noni1978 · 31/08/2020 09:01

@PurpleIsTheColour I’m so sorry to hear about your mc, mine was at the same, mc at 9 weeks baby had stopped at 6. I did mc myself, but it’s on my mind everyday and I am scared this will turn into an unhealthy obsession. I really do hope that you will have good news and have your rainbow baby too 🌈. Wish you all the luck in the world ❤️ x

PurpleIsTheColour · 31/08/2020 09:11

@Noni1978, thank you for the kind words! ❤️ My baby stopped growing at 6 weeks too and I also miscarried naturally but it was a very stressful and painful experience and I didn't get any help or information from the NHS so it took me couple of months to come to terms with it before we start trying again. Please don't worry yourself too much, I was told by the sonographer that miscarriages happen in around 30-40% of all pregnancies so the chances of an underlying issue are very slim, and it's most probably mother nature! You can have a look at the miscarriage association and there are a few posts about trying again after a miscarriage and getting pregnant after 40, so if you need support and some positive experiences that are a lot of ladies around here that have been successful in similar situations to ours. I know it's difficult to be positive but keep your head up and you will have your 🌈 baby soon! All the best of luck! 💜🤞🤞🤞

@PurpleIsTheColour Thank you so much for your positive words 🙂 CB ovulation test was just blank circle again this morning. I need to stop testing and just have ‘fun’ every other day (well try) X
