I'm CD11, waiting for something (anything) to happen this month 😂. Only taking my Inofolic Alpha this cycle and nothing else.

Hope I've tagged everyone xx

@scrambledeggy I've potty trained my 3 year old through lockdown and many times I would be on teams video call and my daughter would come in shouting mummy I need a poo 🤣🤣

Bellabubble · 09/08/2020 21:16

@SmileyT that’s a good point about covid - and if we get another wave it could get worse! I might ring this week as soon as the spotting turns to af! Whilst I know we fell pg Jan this year, I’m just a little worried it still hasn’t happened for oh and I yet, and although I don’t feel like I have been stressing about ttc, I probably have deep down so it might be really helpful!

@Jazper yeh I think it would be nice even just to know if everything is ok and we just need more time! I know at my age it is a 20% chance every month that we’ll conceive. Have you gone through your gp or privately? Whilst I reckon private would be quicker, the ones near me are eye wayeringlu expensive!!

I’m considering - deep breath - not doing opks this month, and just my temping. I’m pretty regular cycle-wise, I jad a 26 days cycle last month, and 27-29 days in thr months prior to that, so I’m wondering whether to just dtd lots in the fertile week, as bbt will tell me when I ovulate xx

Northernsoul90 · 09/08/2020 21:32

@Rb486 thank you so much 😊 it's such a hard slog isn't it all this. Wishing for us all to get our rainbow babies soon 🙏🏼 xx

@SmileyT It definitely is so personal, i think I'm going to try and focus on relaxation and getting my anxiety in check. I need to step away from google! Xx

Northernsoul90 · 09/08/2020 21:36

@Bellabubble I think if you're pretty regular and temping as well it sounds like a good plan! It will maybe help you feel a little more relaxed.. doing OPKs can be such a bind! Xx

MrsK21 · 09/08/2020 21:50

@Northernsoul90 sorry I've been off my phone all day but just saw your question about self referring for a private gynae. As you know I'm seeing one but I still needed a referral from the GP. If you tell them it's for a private referral, it's very unlikely they'd refuse to write you one. It may be different if you're self funding (Im seeing mine through private medical insurance)

@VP91x so sorry you've had a rubbish time at chessington! We were planning to visit Thorpe park but OH checked live queue times, some of them said 120mins + 🤯 so we abandoned it. Hope you've managed to have a nicer evening though

@scrambledeggy I understand you're frustration but try and remember that we've all been 25 and wanting the world at that age. I totally agree and echo what @SmileyT said.

You'll get everything you want and more but all the things you mentioned (house, holidays, income etc) just requires a little bit of patience. My grandma always tells us "Comparison is the thief of happiness" - you sound like you have a wonderful job, amazing education and in a lovely position to be trying to start a family with your OH, hopefully focusing on the positives will get you through this difficult time xxx

HappyVibes · 09/08/2020 23:21

Hi lovelies,

Please can I join the thread - I have loved reading the threads & finally taken the plunge to jump in for moral support all around.

We are currently waiting for the OPK’s to give us the ‘green light’.

We had a MMC in June this year, with one cycle since then. We had a chemical in Jan, and again 2 weeks after the MMC.

Feeling super blessed & grateful that we are fertile & able to conceive. Keeping our fingers crossed that august is our month and that we will be welcoming a May baby into the world.

Sending all you lovely ladies lots of positive & blessed vibes 💫

2020wish · 09/08/2020 23:22

@SmileyT 2.5 weeks they will Rescan me. When is your next scan?

MrsK21 · 09/08/2020 23:54

Welcome @HappyVibes you will find lots of support here! Sorry to hear of your losses 💔 hope this is the month you catch your sticky bean! Are you TTC #1 or have children already? I hope your GP offer support for your next pg as you've had 3 losses? Xxx

HappyVibes · 10/08/2020 00:08

@MrsK21 thank you hun, how lovely of you.

We are feeling super hopeful too. We are TTC baby number 1.

Yeah, I rang after the recent chemical & they’ve referred me to Gynaecology which is reassuring for us. Need to get booked in for CD22/23 for bloods.

I’m sure that all our stories will be inspirational & hopeful for others very soon 💓

Firevie · 10/08/2020 05:51

Morning ladies! I was with my uncle aunt and cousins yesterday so missed loads on here.

@VP91x sorry to hear chessington was a downer ! Can’t believe it was packed!

@scrambledeggy oh no sorry you’re feeling that way and you’ll always have phases where you feel like you should have achieved more but believe me timing doesn’t matter at all. I always planned to have a career at 24, married at 27, house and baby at 30. Other than my career nothing went to plan and even my career has been filled with rejections and hardship. Met my DH at 33, bought a flat at 35, got married at 35, and now trying for a baby. I will be 37 in October. And whilst this wasn’t according to plan I wouldn’t have it any other way! I thoroughly loved my 20s and early 30s and yay it would have been nice to have met DH a bit earlier but who cares! We have the rest of our lives together! So try not to get bogged down by age or timing. As they say age really is just a number!

@HappyVibes sorry you’re finding yourself here lovely but this is such an amazing group of ladies - so strong and inspirational. I’m sure next time you will get your sticky bean!

@Pugprincess loving the line progression ! So so pleased for you!

@Northernsoul90 how was your anniversary dinner? I think you’ve had af now boo! But hopefully this means your body is getting back on track?

As for me 9dpo now....my temperature dropped slightly again but still above the cover line ugh maybe it is because of the time difference as well?! Remind me did we have any success stories on here even if there was a dip? I’m trying not to get worked up about it and just be v casual about taking a pg test on Friday but you guys know there’s always this little hope at the back of your mind! Xxx

chloedancer897 · 10/08/2020 05:53

11DPO and BFN for me today 😞 think that's me out again

Firevie · 10/08/2020 05:54

@chloedancer897 nooooo! Has af arrived yet? I didn’t realise you were going to test! Xxx

chloedancer897 · 10/08/2020 05:56

@Firevie not due until Thursday but I woke up today and decided to test. Used FRER so figure they're accurate enough for me to know it's a no go this month 😭

Firevie · 10/08/2020 06:00

@chloedancer897 you’re not out until af arrives! But even if it does then it still means your healthy baby is on its way to you but it will arrive when it is ready! Xxx

chloedancer897 · 10/08/2020 06:03

@Firevie 3 years in it's hard to maintain the hopefulness 😞

Firevie · 10/08/2020 06:07

I can imagine! I’m sorry @chloedancer897 / give yourself time to feel low. Really hope you get your BFP soon! Sending baby dust your way! Xxx

MichT4 · 10/08/2020 06:12

Morning ladies

I kind of lost a day yesterday - signal was so bad by the beach and then I had a bit of a phone free evening at my Mums, will try and catch up today if I can.

I did try and send my chart yesterday but it kept saying it failed, so either I didn't send it @VP91x or you saw it several times. I won't send again in case it's the latter 😂, temp stayed the same last night so nothing as exciting as the little tiny rise.

How are you today?

@Firevie are you having an amazing time at home? Don't worry about temps too much, especially if above cover. They do their thing for a load of reasons. Mine was coming down each day and then went up a bit again 2 nights ago. No idea. What does your chart look like?

@chloedancer897 sorry it was a bfn, there is still time though. I know it's hard seeing it but just wait a few more days and try again. 11dpo can be really early if you implanted later. I know nothing will make you feel more hopeful, but try and keep positive, because I'm sure it'll happen for you again.

@Lollol86 saw your message about twinges etc - fingers crossed for you that it's something.

Better get ready to leave for work. Have lovely Monday's all. Hope everyone is ok? xx

Firevie · 10/08/2020 06:40

@MichT4 aww how was the beach yesterday? Hope you had a lovely day! Thanks and you’re right no point stressing over temps. I have to wait until Friday only and then I will know. Pic of chart attached xx

MichT4 · 10/08/2020 07:26

@Firevie it was lovely. Such a beautiful day. And I got to dig holes and splash about with my nephews 🥰. How is it being in Vienna?
Yeah I'd say your chart is still good, way above cover. And there have been success stories here with temp dips, so only positive thoughts for this month xx

Lollol86 · 10/08/2020 07:37

@MichT4 it's really strange how it just came on but got stronger, it's still there a little bit. I've probably just got a UTI knowing my luck 😂
I hope you had a lovely day by the beach xx

Firevie · 10/08/2020 07:43

@MichT4 aw thank you! Glad you had a lovely day. It is lovely being home! Today I’m off to get a wax including eyebrows! Cannot wait!!!! Thanks for reassuring me on my chart. You’re right - it’s all good and I trust my baby is on my way to me!
@Lollol86 I missed that - what’s come on stronger? Xxx

Lollol86 · 10/08/2020 07:51

@Firevie so jealous you are getting your eyebrows waxed. So yesterday I had some pain in my left side, it felt quick strange, not sure I've felt it before xx

Firevie · 10/08/2020 07:54

@Lollol86 ah okay sorry I missed that! Not long to go for us until we can test yay xxx

MichT4 · 10/08/2020 07:59

@Firevie also jealous of the brows. I couldn't believe what I saw this morning when I was getting ready 🐛

@Lollol86 noooo not a UTI! A burrowing bean perhaps! 🤞🏼

Firevie · 10/08/2020 08:02

@MichT4 lol honestly eyebrows and my whole body which has just transformed into a fur ball! Cannot wait to get legs etc also waxed and start wearing dresses and skirts haha
Have a good day ladies xxx
