An IC "Is this a line?" post

I'm no good at reading these pesky ICs. Can anyone see a line? I think I can see something but not sure.

Am 9DPO. Didn't get a clear line on an IC until 11DPO with DC1, so suspect me seeing something is just wishful thinking...

Light isn’t great but I can see a shadow of something. If you’re testing this early I’d use a FRER, much more sensitive

@BuffaloCauliflower Me and FRER are no longer friends...I have had a number of false lines on them recently (inc one at 5 DPO!!). Will try a Clearblue tomorrow if I can get a hold of one.

Yes, light is poor - hadn't realised I was sitting in such a dark room!!

Clearblue are generally the least sensitive, and blue line tests are more likely to have false lines, so I’d trust them less. Maybe wait a few more days?

@BuffaloCauliflower Yeh, I know. Seems like there's no really reliable way for us impatient early testers to be sure 😆

I can see something but too hard to tell if it's an evap or not. Take another of the same test if you have one,

Can I ask where you got your FRER from? If you bought from the internet then it was probably fake. I've never known anyone (even on MN) to get a fake positive from an FRER they bought in person from a pharmacy, only ones bought online. People continue buying them even though they keep giving out false positives, if I knew who was selling them id sue!

@mrsmummy1111 I got them from EBay so they probably are fake. Still, damage is done and I'd rather wait a few days to use a less sensitive test and get a clearer result.

In the meantime though I shall pee on ICs to my heart's content as I do love POAS and searching for lines!!

I tested too early this time around (9DPO) and although it was positive, it was my first time ever testing before my period was late and I was furious with myself as I spent the next few weeks petrified it was going to end up as a chemical. I've promised myself if we have anymore I will never test early again.

Just did these two ICs - nothing there as far as I can see so previous smudge must have been an evap. Makes more sense at 9DPO on ICs

My fingers got twitchy around the ICs again and again I think I can see a smudge. Any opinions? Smudge was there within 2-3 mins

Honestly though I do think I can make myself see a line on anything...
