Hi, I’m wondering if anyone here who has had a hycosy know when it’s would be safe to BD after having the procedure?? I had it 2 days ago and never got told any aftercare advice, Just not to use a tampon to stop the risk of infection, Thanks 😊 Smile

Hey, we BD the day we had HyCoSy. Wasn't given any information about not doing it. I guess it depends how your body reacts but I believe I asked and was told if I felt up for it then to go for it.

I heard that you are more fertile in the three months following the HyCoSy and I was due to ovulate around then so I wanted to give it a shot.
6 months later though and still no baby 🙈

I was told by the clinic to skip TTC the month of hycosy. Not sure why.

@Greengrassfreshair that's to make sure you're not pregnant at the time of the hycosy.

@AbbTTC unless you're bleeding you should be fine to go ahead! I presume you were prescribed antibiotics?
