@samilicious it was lovely at Bridlington, and not too busy today so was great,y DS kind of "playing" with 2 of his cousins (fighting), my MIL has 5 grandsons aged 3 & under, mine is number 2! And only 3 of her 4 children have kids so a big family & all live not a million miles away! We get on well I'm very lucky

@MrsCrumbtious I potty trained DS during lockdown, his choice, not mine, he decided to do it early & so it took ages overall when MIL is all "if they are ready it takes a week bullshit". But he cracked it & so I'm sending BIG HUGS & wine your way, it's fecking hard but keep going, you WILL GET THERE. 😂🤣🙈

DH & I are trying to book a posh weekend away for September prior to IVF but also trying to stay safe too & avoid Covid risks but get in a hot tub as I won't be able to do that after embryo transfer, I do "act like pregnant" so no drinking too so want to get a weekend away in before so can't treat ourselves but everywhere booked already 😕

Any Swanky hot tub lodges/Michelin restaurant type hotel restaurant locations welcome please 🤞🏻

@Ltay2 how are you planning on telling yours? My sister knows we were trying because I had to tell her not to re-book hen do until end of August. So sort of think shes mentioned it to mam 🤔
Also when did you call your GP? then do they get a midwife to get in touch? I have zero idea what Im meant to do 🙈

@katao well I had 3 in 5 years (and was only 21 when I had my first) so things were a little crazy for a while and more than a handful! Then I thought I was done and then my DH started nagging me about one more a couple of years ago. Thought I didn’t want anymore but in lockdown realised it’s all about family and changed my mind! To my DH age gaps are nothing as his mum is 16 years the youngest of her siblings and DH has twin brothers 25 years younger than him!

@Katao 😂😂 we said we were done lol dd was an awful cryer and we both worked fulltime and saving for a mortgage. Got our house then my eldest got diagnosed with t1 so I went in leave. And now I'm like I want another. Deep down it was always sort of there but we were busy doing other things 🙈 plus our last house was tiny so until we bought we couldn't.

@laceymermaid 11. There is 18mths between them and they are very close.

@Minster2012 yes 😂 so was meant to be this year so we decided on a new date to make it a joint hen and 30th bday. But I told my sister to hold fire before re booking. So everyone has it in their diaries, but be easy to move. Will likley be post wedding now.

@blodyn91 For my mum I'm just going to tell her outright no frills 😂 she doesn't really do big song and dance things for things like this so I just want to get her told then we can spend longer chatting about it and enjoying the moment. OH parents we will tell later on after the first private scan as his mum will definitely appreciate more of a 'build up announcement' thing. I did a self referral to my local hospital as I found an easy to fill in form online without having to contact the GP. I did that on Monday when I was 4+4 so got it done early. I think if you call your GP they can advise you whether you need to self refer or whether they do it for you!

@LaceyMermaid aw that's lovely, it is all about family. All age gaps have their perks, you will have live in baby sitters! Wow those are some age gaps in your hubbys family!
@2alreadywantanother i can understand that, if it was never fully off the cards then its its nearly inevitable! Never say never!

@blodyn91 the hen do after the wedding?!! Eh?!! It's the same as @Ltay2 says for referral round here for pregnancy, I called our GP practice after the IVF & they just gave my the community midwives number & said to self refer but I also filled out the form for the free dental there & then as on my notes it was that we were doing IVF & I needed a filling so I chanced it & I got it through the post a couple of weeks after! 😂I never got to my midwife appointment though only chatted to them but I got my filling 😬

@katao we always wanted more, but life and health issues got in the way, now I said sod the health issues or it'll never happen... circumstances are not perfect but we'll make it work.
@Minster2012 I am better, have been busy seeing everyone individually the last couple of weeks, and next week, ds start holiday club, so finally some time to myself, and then I'll be back to work, so lots to keep me distracted

Cd5 here, hairdressing day, I am going to head to the salon in a bit and have decent hair colour again, I've been so tempted to do something about it myself, but hairdresser has been putting pictures online of all the corrections she had to do, I am glad I managed to leave it alone
