So I normally do an OPK and then throw it away after 30 secs, but today I did one, got in the shower and then looked and it was actually low so now I wonder how many times I've missed low ones 🤣

@LaceyMermaid @Juno231 so weird to come on here an hear about the second surge! My cycles have been 21-24 days for the last 6 months, so expecting AF any time now as had a bit of a month off this month and don't have my usual OV pain at CD13 so thought I wasn't OV this month. Just got a random side pain so took an OV test strip and clear line, wtf is going on?! Just as I thought my cycles were going back to normal 😩

@lucyrp I'm so sorry you're feeling so hopeless - that experience sounds horrible. A year of stress of trying is A LOT. I felt hopeless like that and completely gave up, but I see that as part of the journey - like you need to get to that rock bottom point and half give up - people always say "when you stop trying that's when it happens" as annoying as that can be, so you're a step closer to that and a step closer to where you wana be? Any way I really hope you feel better soon xxx

@samilicious I had a cp back in May too then had a 72 day cycle and now I'm on my next cycle after that so literallt feel like anything I do is useless. I've got to the point where I don't want to try but I don't want to not try either. OH got really upset seeing me crying and I had to hold in the tears until we left and then I let it all out in the car and he held my hand all the way home but I felt even more upset because I know how upset he is also and seeing me upset would make it worse for him. Its also sad because his friend that we went to see also has a 3 year old little girl and we got pregnant the same time as they did with her so we would have had a child the same age as their oldest and they're on their second and we're still here with nothing 😓

I've also got home and gone to put Kitty's medicine in the fridge for tomorrow and the day after and I've lost it 😭 feeling very useless tonight

@lucyrp no wonder you were so upset :( a girl at work had a baby around the same time as my MC due date in January and seeing her still stings a lot. Big hugs ❤️ also don't feel useless - your mind is elsewhere, today has been a hard day but be kind to yourself - bloody vets though so expensive. My dogs eye drops were £90 😱 found cheaper ones online tho luckily. Hope your kitty is better soon x

Nervous first poster in this thread but I'm tearing my hair out whilst in the 2WW (currently 10DPO) and my husband is away until Tuesday. Trying to resist the urge to test even though he said ages ago that he doesn't mind if I test without him when we start trying...

@samilicious thank you ❤️ I still feel very emotional and I'm unsure why as I'm literally around ovulation so shouldn't be upset really. My vets bill was only £29 for a quick check over and a prescription for the worming medicine but still now I'm going to have to fork out more money for more medicine😭 she's fine they've just given her some de wormer as her belly's quite full and is eating but not putting on any weight x she's only around 9 weeks from what I've been told but the vet thinks she's a lot younger x

I felt awful for crying when I held OHs friends baby she is the cutest little thing ever and we so badly want one ourself and they know we're TTC and pretty much know all our ins and outs so understand what we're going through. I'm working today and I'm already stressed about what its going to be like as I'm going to be left on my own to sort everything out when there should be two people really but hey ho 😓 wish me luck everyone. I could really do with staying at home for cuddles with OH feel like I've hardly seen him since I've been back at work which doesn't really help the whole emotional me!

@lucyrp I would try not to worry about flashing smiley, I bet you get positive OPKs nearer the static. Every cycle can be slightly different especially if you are stressed. You need to keep that stress hormone cortisol under control. Plan nice things that will get your mind off ttc. Try and use work as a distraction not a stressor. I know its easier said than done. Stroke your kitty, go on a bike ride or walk with non baby friends. Sending you big hugs!
TTC is just a total mind fuck. My bbt is up again today, so looks like FF was right not femometer @Juno231. So now im assuming im cd28, 8dpo, and this will be my longest cycle yet

@blodyn91 yeah I know it's just so difficult isn't it! I'm so looking forward to 2 weekends time as its my birthday and I have 4 days off in a row its going to be bliss. I'm dreaming of a weekend by the sea but wonder whether OH is capable of doing that without my input 🙈 I had gallstone like pains last night which concerned me but I took some milk thistle tablets and hoped for the best and it seems to have subsided this morning which I'm very glad about as I haven't had them since last year. Thank you hugs to you too!
