How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

@Fran2020 I am glad you are having some time with your partner and relaxing. I am heading into fertile week now. Opks are negative just now .

I'm cd15 and still got blank smileys on cb 😑 usually would have had some flashing by now. Would usually get a static tomorrow so no idea what's going on. Feeling very bloated too 😖

Hi everyone, I'm on CD28 with AF due any day now. Haven't had any symptoms this month and don't really think I ovulated as didn't get any ovulation pains. But my guess is that I'm around 9 or 10dpo.
Took an IC this morning which was BFN 😔 and started feeling AF like cramps now. Not feeling much hope anymore. This is our 4th cycle but 2nd cycle properly trying.

So yesterday I hot a high OPK and last night whist DTD, we noticed I was bleeding (sorry tmi 😶) quite a lot so stopped.. I can only assume it was ovulation bleeding but I've never had this before. Has anyone else?? We didn't end up 'finishing' because of the bleeding drama which I'm guttered about as feel we night have missed our chance..

@dogmam that sounds scary, poor you! I've heard of ovulation bleeding being a good sign for fertility but never experienced it. Did you manage to dtd any other days in the lead up? I'm sure you'll still be covered if you manage tonight.

Its too freaking hot for dtd 🥵 the heat keeps making me swell up, not feeling very sexy haha!

I went straight to static on my cb opk yesterday which is very unusual for me but dtd yesterday and today and have done every other day in the lead up to that so fingers crossed.

How is everyone else getting on?

@dogmam that's a bit strange, never had anything like that. Could it have been some period blood that got stuck?

CD10 for me or there abouts, started OPKs this morning and already getting a high reading. Ovulation not due for 2 weeks apparently so theres not gonna be much happening for me for a while.

@DoctorBambino the bleeding drama was Saturday but we managed to dtd yesterday (sunday) which was the day after I got my peak so hoping it was still in time! The time before that was Thursday so not sure if that's too early to count haha. Basically every 3rd day we have dtd so far. It's been soo hot and I'm in the North so I feel for people in the south where it's been in the 30s! It's actually raining today so I'm pleased. Sounds like you have still managed to dtd plenty anyway, are you following SMEP?

@nottherealslimshady nah I don't think it could be my period because it was a pink colour rather than old blood (erghh sorry it awful talking about that haha) plus AF was over 2 weeks ago. Maybe start testing a couple time a day, I would trust the OPKs rather than what the apps are predicting. Hopefully not too much longer to wait for O so you can get busy!

I had my bloods taken on Thursday to check my B12, they done loads of others too so waiting for the results of those back today. I also found out my initial B12 bloods last year were 181 (aparently very low) and then when they got tested again a few month later they were 211 (boarderline) but I was told they were fine.. will see what they say today!

I ovulated this month and AF is meant to arrive in the next week or so, obviously hoping she doesn't ! I don't have my usual pre period symptoms so trying to be positive although we didn't get to do the deed as much as we had planned this cycle 🙈 I'm feeling super bloated and boobs are bigger and feeling hungry all the time but it's hard to know if this is linked to AF or early pregnancy 🙈 fingers crossed for us all, I've lost track a little bit of what cycle I am on as I'm trying to be relaxed and not work myself up but it is difficult, it's a hard journey.

@annaposie That sounds promising . It is hard to know what is AF and what could be pregnancy related which is frustrating. Hopefully you get a BFP.
@dogmam Hopefully the bleeding is a good sign and you'll get a BFP in a couple of weeks.

I am CD14 was expecting a smiley CB opk today as I was CD14 last month but was also 2 days early . Hopefully get on in the next day or so . Not much else to report.

@dogmam thanks for checking in. Doing ok, back at home after a nice trip to see family for 10 days. Expecting my cycle to be a little odd as it tries to straighten out after the chemical pregnancy on the 31st. Premom app says I'm due to ovulate tomorrow even though AF just ended on Thursday. 2 other apps say due to ovulate 16th but I think those will be wrong as they are basing that date off of my typical 28 day cycle which was thrown for a loop after the chemical.
OPKs are already pretty dark so I'd say premom is the correct app in this instance.
Unfortunately OH and I will not be TTC this month as the potential due date just doesn't work for our family 😞. Won't have much to report until September other than hoping my cycle will get back on track.

@dogmam not doing smep exactly, don't think we would manage 3 days in a row! So have done 2 in a row, miss a day and then will hopefully do tomorrow. Every 3rd day should have you covered, how many dpo are you now? How did the b12 testing go?

@Kalecat glad to hear you had a nice trip and that you're doing ok after such a rough time. September will be here before we know it!

I'm 1dpo today and not feeling very hopeful or positive this month. Usually this is the hope zone for me and although I feel confident we have dtd at the right times, I just have a gut feeling it won't happen this month. Which I'm scared to say incase a jinx it haha!

Glad to hear everyone is getting on ok. Sorry you’re not feeling too confident @DoctorBambino. I have the same feeling too! Although in my case largely because we just didn’t dtd enough this month so am feeling a bit frustrated. We’re in London where it’s been really hot and DP has a skin condition which is exacerbated by the heat so has been miserable! Last time we dtd was evening of CD13. I got a peak CD15 and I think probably ovulated CD16. Am now 2dpo. I know it is possible from 3 days before ov but given that we haven’t been successful the last few months when we’ve been closer to it, I don’t rate our chances!

🤞🏼 for all those coming close to ovulation and nearing testing! Nothing to report here.. tried to switch off from apps and obsessive over when it’ll be my turn.. AF is on her last day so I’m CD5 I do hope she decides to self isolate elsewhere for 10 months and shows up late 2021 and I have a baby in tow 🤣

Just did a cheap opk today and it was negative . Basically hardly any second line so not sure I will peak tomorrow. I'm just going with the flow this month and seeing what happens. Not putting the pressure on dtd every day and just enjoying it a bit more . We will probably aim for every second or third day until I ovulate. I have stopped working from home and now back in work and feel this will help me not to become so obsessed with ttc and just seeing what happens.

@kalecat maybe a month off is just what you need and then in September you can try again hopefully feeling recharged! Hope you enjoyed spending time with your family.

@DoctorBambino ahh sorry you're feeling like that, you've done all you can and gave it your best shot this cycle so hopfully this is your lucky month.

@dinosaurus86 I think you're still in with a chance and you do hear of people who have only dtd once in the whole month and still fall pregnant, so don't count yourself out.

@littlebee1990 god yes a self isolating AF would be ideal right now. I love the thought of this time next year we could all have our little babies!

I'm still working from home and have started to think about what room would be the nursery. We are in a 3 bed new build and have one room as a spair bed room and one room as a dressing room (basically a messy clothes room with open rails).. not sure to have the nursery in there or get rid of the spair bed room and make that a nursery... hmmm Tuesday night thoughts haha

@1992EM I’m rooting for you too girly! I hope you get your peak soon. I’m sure being back in the office will be a good distraction.. I’m WFH until January at the earliest so would love to conceive soon to avoid vomming in a bag on the drain like I imagine the first 12 weeks to be 🤣

@dogmam oh I totally vision my nursery! We are in the middle of selling and buying (our dream house tbh) and I had this moment where I said OMG we’re buying our dream family home... what if there’s something wrong and we can’t have babies and we have this big house and just the 2 of us forever... he laughed and kissed me head and think he thought I was joking... it’s a real fear now!!

@littlebee1990 ahh how exciting that your buying your dream home! Try not to think like that, although to be honest i have those sort of thoughts all the time, like at least once a week i argue with myself about getting another dog but then i stop myself and say no because we WILL have a baby on the way soon! We actually sold our house just before lockdown and found a gorgeous victorian terrace (so the complete opposite to my modern new build now!) But we had to pull out and take ours off the market because my other half was furloughed (he still is) and was at risk for redundancy so sticking with the new build for now. Good luck with the move though, doing it before a baby comes along will be well worth it I reckon!

I also have a note on my phone with baby names that I keep reviewing to see if I still like them haha at least it's keeps the mind off ovulating and bloody OPKs!!

Haven’t been on here for a while as I got my AF 8dpo which was unexpected and was feeling down. Two of my friends also announced their pregnancy which was a kick in the balls (really happy for them of course).

@Littlebee1990 I’ve been the same as you trying to switch off. Congratulations on the dream house I’m sure you will fill it in no time!

I’ve got a consultation with a fertility doctor this afternoon to discuss my short luteal phase as I’m sure it’s impacting my ability to conceive. Has anyone spoken to one before? I’m hoping I will get my hormone levels checked but not sure what else is meant to happen!

@dogmam @mylittlebean2019 Thank you both! It’s all still very early on the house front so it’s a welcome distraction tbh! However brains also worried about it all going wrong... why is nothing ever just quick and ok in life 🤣 But it’s been nice to spend time on house paperwork other than googling every pregnancy symptom under the sun! My period is due in a few days, I found an early detection clear blue test so caved and did it but got the usual BFN, it never gets easier even though I was probably jumping the gun as my dates could be a little off. I just don't know why it's not happening and it's so hard going to the shops etc and seeing baby stuff everywhere, and everyone seems to be pregnant, I'm like how are you pregnant, why am I not 🙈🙈

But we will keep going, just dreaming of that bfp. I'm going to test again in a week .

@doctorbambino I'm similar to you, 31, ttc #1 , cycle 5 or 7 , I've lost track 🙈 the year is flying by, I hope we all have good news before the end of the year, I'm scared of going into the new year without a bfp.

Fertility doctor wasn’t that helpful... basically stop breastfeeding, loose a stone, keep up with exercise, stop using OPKs, DTD every 2-3 days. Basically everything I already knew. She told me to get bloods via my GP and then depending what comes up she will refer me for scans. I don’t know why I was just expecting a magical tablet that will sort everything out. Everything she suggested seem so much longer term but I just want to get pregnant now 😫

@littlebee1990 Thank you, still no peak but getting darker I think ill get it on Friday. I also wanted to get pregnant during lockdown so it was easier to hide. I am not in a job where I can run off to the toilet whenever so sickness is something I am worried about 🤣 will need to get a bucket. Not that I'll care so long as I'm pregnant. Congratulations in your dream house. We did this too and now I'm settled im desperate for a nursery and thinking about the garden and where the toys can go etc. Makes it harder when people around you are having babies and announcing they are pregnant.

CD13 here, getting high readings but no peak, not due for a while though. I'm loving my bluetooth thermometer. It beeps at 7am I put it in my mouth for a minute the go back to sleep!

Has anyone managed to DTD in this heat? We've managed once, other than that it's a minimum 2ft between us 😅
