We’re nearly full so made us another thread!

How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

@nottherealslimshady fingers crossed next cycle is the one . Must be so heartbreaking. Hope you enjoy hiking 💕

@gymbelle sorry to hear that and that is really poor of the doctor to not even ask about your questions. Hopefully you get some answer when the consultant phones.

I have no words @kalecat and @Nottherealslimshady.. it definitely helped me talking about it, we told our nearest and dearest because I would’ve probably hit someone if I got the baby question weeks after.

Update on the hot tub situation this weekend.. it’s broken and doesn’t go over 29 degrees so situation averted!!

I've spent the day at the hospital, had bloods taken and an internal examination, got a scan monday and more bloods. She said my cervix is still closed which is a good sign 😯 but if I lose that amount of blood and keep this pregnancy then I'm starting a new religion because it must be the next Christ!.. so trying not to hold on to too much hope.

I'm not decided on whether to tell anyone irl, I'm glad I've got support on mumsnet but I feel I'd have to support others through it if you know what I mean and I dont think I can be responsible for others emotions around it.

@Nottherealslimshady That’s really good, I was literally told “oh we’re so sorry”.. no scan, no bloods, nothing! I’m so glad you’re receiving better care ❤️ I honestly have everything crossed that it’s ok. My friend bled huge amounts every month and her little boy is now 2, she thought she lost him 4 times! Xx

@kalecat and @nottherealslimshady so sorry about both of your awful news, hope in time you are both ok and positive about trying again xx

@nottherealslimshady . I am.glsd they are doing tests . Fingers crossed all is well . I also know someone who had bleeding right through and everything was fine, so it is possible. I completely understand . I don't think I could tell anyone just because I then no ill get asked constantly if we are pregnant again and I don't think I could handle that. Although they might be supportive and help you through it too.

@nottherealslimshady just seen your latest message after I posted mine.. got everything crossed for you and lets hope your closed cervix means good news! Keep us updated, get plenty of cuddles from your dog in the mean time x

I’m so sorry @Kalecat. It’s all so unfair.

That sounds promising @Nottherealslimshady. My SIL had bouts of very heavy bleeding with her first baby and thought she’d miscarried a couple of times. But sometimes they do seem to cling on.

@Littlebee1990 I'm so sorry they dismissed you like that. The care is so variable in early pregnancy. It was 111 that sent me to A&E because of the level of bleeding, I think the early pregnancy unit are fobbing people off atm.
Still bleeding today but less so. Started cramping when walking so we came home.
Trying not to be hopeful, my boobs dont feel very tender at all and it was a lot of blood. But I took a pregnancy test this morning. Top was two days ago but middle of the day after a 3-4hr hold so could have been lower than it had been in the morning. Never used these before so cant compare it to earlier in the pregnancy but I was surprised that it was the same, kinda frustrating though, not really an answer.

@Nottherealslimshady ❤️ That’s still a strong line, feel awful for you because every hour just feels like a day. Hopefully tomorrow you will he know more, I’m glad the bleeding is easing and I’m really really hoping for good news. You’ve been on my mind all day x

Having a really meh day today about TTC 😔 CD34 & 9DPO.. on my usual 28 day cycles I should’ve had a BFP or AF over and done with by now. Long cycles are really really hard. This is going to be around 40 days, it really really messes with your head.. of course I want nothing more than to see a BFP at the end of this week but also hope if I’m not pregnant that AF shows promptly so I can reset and go again. Never thought I’d be thinking about cycle 5.. so naive to think it’d happen quickly. Pure admiration for all of you with long cycles and also trying for much longer, feel like such a d*ck moaning but as supportive as my amazing partner is.. it’s just nice to have a meh moment to everyone else who totally gets it.

@Littlebee1990 So sorry you've had a down day and a shit cycle. Try to stay positive, it may feel like forever but 5 months is still not long and it will feel like no time once your baby is in your arms

@mylittlebean2019 I’ve got tests at home but so scared because of the CP last month but then part of me thinks perhaps I’m best to know if I have another loss to make doctors aware. AF expected around 8th August! Temptation is killing me.. tomorrow is 10DPO. How about you? X

@mrswilso I know exactly how you feel, baby announcements everywhere! I just smile and die inside! I have no self control and POAS this morning.. I think I can see a vvvvvvvvvvfl but my partner can’t, also been reading up and apparently these tests always give false positives.. FML. Too much wishful thinking

Hi @Littlebee1990 sorry you’ve had a bit of a meh weekend. That does look like it could be a line to me. I guess give it a couple of days and maybe try with a frer?

I’ve been weighing up pros and cons of early testing myself. So far I’ve largely avoided it but have had at least one likely chemical and I’m thinking it probably is better to know for sure... so I might test early this month. At the same time, as you say, I’m terrified of a bfp that turns to a bfn. And equally really hate seeing a bfn...

Ages for me though. Still only CD10.

@Littlebee1990 I think I can see a faint line! Try again in a couple of days! Well my cycle is completely out of whack so I think I ovulated on CD34, and so I’m 3DPO which means I probably won’t be testing until 15th August 😫 I obviously will be symptom spotting until then... got a couple of cheap tests in the draw so depending how I get on might start POAS in a weeks time x

I had a smear test this morning 🤮 cd10 so just heading up to fertile week. Hoping having a smear won't make my cervix all angry and rule me out this cycle.. who knows maybe it will help!
