We’re nearly full so made us another thread!

How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

Preseed update for anyone curious.. first time using it (I never ever notice EWCM so wanted to try this) it’s absolutely fine, so easy to use and insert and didn’t make DTD “sloppy” or anything, partner also said felt fine (I was worried it would feel slimey)

Evening, how is everyone? AF was in full flow this morning. I called the doctor and have booked my ultrasound which is on Tuesday. So maybe that will provide something answers.

@Dinosaurus86 yeah, it's so ridiculously unfair 😔 I listened to most of the podcast on my run earlier- it's really good (thanks for the recommendation @AnnaPosie). I wish we had more control over the process!

Morning all. Just been laying low and watching the thread as I haven't much to contribute since we didn't TTC this month.
Finally mustered up the courage to call the clinic yesterday and cancelled my 8 week scan that was supposed to happen on the 28th.
Expecting AF next weekend. 3 more weeks until we can TTC again...

Grr 12dpo and brown spotting here. Am still clinging onto a tiny bit of hope because normally I start with pink spotting, although not until 13/14 dpo but last month was earlier. Have been feeling quite crampy on and off.

How is everyone else?

I am CD25 and 5 dpo. I decided to keep doing ovulation tests just to see what happens as I stopped last month as they were more or less blank after ovulation . This time they are getting darker, not peak level though. Is that normal ? My cycles are normally 30 days but since ttc they have been a bit random . First month was 35 days , second 30, third 28 and now this month flo is telling me will be 32 day cycle. I know I'm not likely to pregnant so using this month to just learn a bit more about how my body works 🤣.

@dinosaurus86 have everything crossed it is late implantation and not AF . Good luck x

@1992EM I’m having a mare with ovulation sticks this month too! CD16 and both my apps say I’ll ovulate tomorrow but I barely even have a hint of a second line so I think I’ll ovulate later, perhaps around CD20, before my CP I always ovulated CD14-16 and 30 day cycles and last month after the CP it was CD25 and a 39 day cycle, we’re just going to continue to DTD a minimum of EOD until that peak comes, it makes me realise how easy it is to miss it if you just trust the apps! X

Alas, AF definitely here for me. I was quite upset yesterday but feel slightly calmer this morning. Not sure why my last couple of cycles have been shorter or if this is going to be a longer term change. Previously I’ve always had a 14 day luteal phase but the last couple have been 11/12. Does anyone know if that’s still long enough? I’ve heard there can be problems if they’re too short.

Have booked myself a night at a spa hotel later this week. Debating whether to try to go for acupuncture this month or next. Fingers crossed for those not out yet!

@Littlebee1990 it might jusbe taking a little while to get back to normal but I dont think it will change your chance of getting pregnant so just stay positive, I have everything crossed for you.

@Dinosaurus86 just did a quick google and a normal luteal phase is anything down to 11 days. 8 days would classes as short and could affect fertility so you're still ok I think :)

5dpo here, nothing to report but my temps are normal, such a no mans land this soon after ovulation because you cant even symptom spot 😂 AF due on the 1st aaaages away!

Despite having just said you cant symptom here I am thinking I have implantation cramps 🙄

@littlebee1990 hope you get your peak soon. I had a smiley on cd18 and cd19 which was 4 days later than last month but then I was 2 days early last month 🙈 it is so confusing I wish you just knew.

@dinosaurus86 we are deffinetly cycle twins, unfortunately AF has started today after spotting yesterday. What a shitter!!! For me it's like I am absolutely devastated when AF arrives but I can't cry it's as if I go blank, a strange feeling I can't describe. I am also wondering about the short luetuel phase, what CD did you ovulate? I think I ovulated CD17 this month so 12 day luetuel phase but it was shorter last month. Anyway, I hope you're ok and I hope this new cycle is our special one.

@nottherealslimshady I hope your tww goes quick and you get your bfp, a symptom is a symptom I guess and I've seen people on here who feel things from 5dpo and end up with a BFP so you never know!

@littlebee1990 I think the apps can be so missleadig, for one thing, each app predicts different dates and ultimately they are just using calculations aren't they so I think OPKs are better. Also, I just noticed yesterday on the Clue app that it says to 'hide' any unusually long or short cycles so that it doesn't affect the averages for working out dates etc.

Indeed @dogmam!! Just how I feel. I had my peak on CD15 with the clear blue, which I believe means I probably ovulated on CD16. It sounds like CD16/17 is still ok in terms of length of luteal phrase (thanks @Nottherealslimshady!) so we should be fine in that respect. How old are you, if you don’t mind me asking? I’m 33, approaching 34. I know once you hit 35 they say only to give it 6 months before investigations and I feel rather close to it, but I guess it’s fine. I can’t really moan since I haven’t even crossed that mark yet. I know my mum took 7 months to get pregnant with me and she was 10 years younger than I am now.

Fingers crossed for next month, as always! Maybe my spa day will do the trick @1992EM! I struggle enormously with the whole relaxing thing.

Thank you everyone! Still no peak or smiley on the OPK and ovulation was predicted today so it’s definitley gonna be later which means another longer cycle.. argh this CP has really messed the cycles up!

@Littlebee1990 so sorry to hear your still a bit all over, it's so unfair!
She's due today but usually I would be spotting last night and definitely bleeding by my first wipe in the morning. Crossing my fingers...and legs 🤣 I'll probably try to wait until tomorrow when I'd be officially late.

@fran2020 they are now very faint so think I peaked last weekend like i thought. AF due next week between Thursday and Saturday. Hope you are feeling better today 👍.

This is a strange one but I am having a horrible metallic taste in my mouth. I am a paranoid wreck due to being back at work and worried about covid so don't know if I am over thinking things more . Anyone else had this. I am hoping it isn't a bug 🙈. x

@1992EM That’s a very very common early pregnancy sign, it’s the first thing my 2 best friends noticed and I had it when I had my CP which is what made me test x

Are you gonna test tomorrow??

I've been at a family lunch and took the offer of a wee glass of rosé but didn't manage much of it, it's made me super sleepy. Currently back home wrapped up in my fluffiest dressing gown and still no sign of the witch yet...had some very mild cramping about an hour ago but it felt higher and less intense than the usual pre-AF warning shots 🤣
I've done really well at avoiding symptom spotting this month so I'm now kicking myself for having nothing to compare with last months notes but now that I'm definitely almost a day late I can safely say my boobs have definitely felt...different? the past few days. Trying soooooo hard not to get too excited but every time I go to the bathroom and find nothing I have a little squeal to myself 🤣🤞🏻
