Really sore nipples sorry tmi

Basically my partner and I have been ttc baby number 2 for two years after no luck couple months ago we booked a family holiday for may next year. My period is due Wednesday next week. For two days I’ve had really sore nipples , only if touched or brushed against but very sensitive and sore and only time in past I’ve had this was when pregnant with my ds. Since I’m only half way through the 2ww I bought a 2 pack of first response 6 days early. Could any ladies advise me on when is best to test don’t want to test too early but also I’m desperate to know now. Thanks xx

Hey, I used a FRER and got a BFP like 2/3 days before I was due. It is so hard not to test every single day and waste tons of money during the 2ww (I did exactly that every month until my positive). Don't know any scientific basis for when is best to test because when I was looking into it there seemed to be a huge variation of some women not getting BFPs until a couple of days late and some getting them early! No cheapies, I ordered the frer on amazon next day! According to FRER website I can test on Friday but think I’ll wait and test saturday with fmu. Hopefully put my mind at rest. It’s so strange we’ve been trying for two years , we gave up booked this family holiday and now I’m having these symptoms. I’m just desperate to find out especially before we keep paying money to the holiday because if I have caught this month we wouldn’t be able to go I’ve checked dates.
