BFPS after chemical?

Hi everyone!
I’m just looking to see how many ladies got pregnant their first cycle after chemical/early miscarriage? I had one last month, was extremely sad but we decided to just carry on ttc as normal and I ovulated a week later then usual. Now I’m 11dpo and I swore I wouldn’t test early this month and well that’s gone to pot, this morning i caved and Im sure there was a faint line 🤷‍♀️ I’m leaving it a couple days before I test again, AF due Saturday but obviously I’m now panicking that the same may happen again if I am pregnant again that is! Any experiences to share about pregnancy after having a chemical? xxx

Hi OP - happened to me with DC2!

I remember when the chemical happened reading on here it was quite common to get a BFP the next cycle and lo and behold I did !
Hopefully you will hear other success stories.

Yes, I had an mmc then 3 chemicals in a row then my bfp, now asleep on my chest at 15 weeks old. Good luck op, I found the chemicals really messed with my head, I was stupid for testing early every time but I had symptoms about 10 dpo every time and couldn’t help it!

I had a chemical November 2016, normal AF December 2016, chemical January 2017 and finally a sticky BFP February 2017 so absolutely possible

They are a horrible thing to go through but nothing to stop you conceiving again very soon!

I had a chemical last month. Got my BFP yesterday on a frer. I'm driving myself mad as I'm worried I'm going to have another chemical. One positive im looking at, is i have more symptoms this time! Fingers crossed you are also lucky this month xx

@bananamonkey so sorry you’ve been through all of them, it’s so heartbreaking but so happy to hear you had your long awaited BFP! I’m the same, promised myself not too test and i got up in the morning yesterday and grabbed one and went to pee, it was like natural instinct! xx

@Spinksy9 so sorry you had one last month as well! But big congratulations on the BFP, that’s amazing, but I know exactly how you feel, I’m beyond terrified, I’ve had back ache today and because I had that last month I keep saying to myself oh no it’s happening! I’m knicker checking the lot! Wishing you a sticky bean and a happy and healthy 9 months xx

Thank you all for sharing your experiences! I caved again this afternoon, I swear I need help lol I managed to not do one this morning but this afternoon I’ve done a poundshop test and this ones defo a faint line, there’s no question so I just really hope it gets darker and we get that BFP!

Its hard not to test isnt it!!

@Wearewaiting not me... I had a chemical on my first month trying and 5 cycles on and still not had any success, so from my experience it doesn't make you more fertile on the next cycle.

@Wearewaiting I also had a chemical last month and we have continued ttc my cycle is seeming to be longer this month I'm usually around 24 days I'm now day 25. Tested and neg it seems the chemical has made my cycle longer

I have everything crossed for you. It's such a nerve wracking time after a chemical but hopefully that line will get stronger and you can feel more at ease 🤞🏻

I think that's a pretty clear line for an afternoon wee too! That's gotta be a good sign 🤗

Sorry for late reply as haven’t been on! Thanks again everyone for sharing all your experiences! I have had my BFP confirmed through clear blue digital, and due 10th April 2021, just hoping it’s sticky! Baby dust to everyone trying, hope you get that BFP and thank you all again! ❤️

I had a chemical last month and really hoping for a sticky one this month.. But I don't want to get my hopes up! Congratulations @wearewaiting
