OPK test - Is ovulation over when positive test fades?

I really want to know if ovulation is over once your OPK test turns negative again? Thanks

Not necessarily - you get a positive ovulation test when it detects the hormone surge. Then you ovulate 12-48hrs after the surge... I think! I’m sure there’s lots of ladies more knowledgeable than me on here but I think that’s it

What the other poster said! You ovulate 12-36 hours after a positive test so a fading test just means your surge is over but you may yet to have ovulated.
