Day 21 bloods

I had day 21 bloods taken today. We’ve only been ttc for 3 months but I had called the doctor because I was getting lots of spotting and he Suggested checking to be on safe side. I was under the impression d21 bloods was just progesterone but they have also checked oestrogen, LH and FSH. From what I’ve read I thought those got checked day 3?? Am I wrong? Anyone else had them checked at day21??

@LT103 nope they should definitely by cycle day 3. Maybe they're just checking what they are now and will request you get the day 3 bloods done on your next cycle

Thanks. That’s what I thought. Seems a bit pointless. My main worry was due to spotting for a week before af so I wanted progesterone checked. Would have been good to know everything else was ok. But we’ve only been trying 3 months so I won’t push for them to be rechecked unless another 3 months go by
