PCOS and OPKs - Help!

I was diagnosed with PCOS 10 years ago, and have been on the pill ever since. I came of the pill a few months ago and have had regular cycles (to my surprise!!).
For the first time this month I have used OPK's and was so excited to see a peak the day before yesterday (picture attached).
However, from reading articles online, apparently OPKs can be unreliable if you have PCOS due to a rise in LH throughout the month...
Now I am worrying it wasn't accurate. The dates seem to be correct considering I have a 29-30 day cycle, and have had AF on time every month.
Anyone had experience with this? I really hope I did ovulate!

Here's another pic.. of the tests on the day of 'peak'!

@TTCRach Were you testing throughout the cycle? PCOS can cause multiple LH surges, but looks like you probably just had the one over a few days, which is normal. Are you charting BBT? BBT is the only way to confirm ovulation has actually occurred, OPKS just measure LH levels, but it's possible to have an LH surge and not ovulate x

@MintGreenLife I started on Day 10 of my cycle, and it was at 0% up until CD15 where I had 17%, then the next day was my peak (CD16), then by CD17 it had gone back down to 45% in the morning, then 0% by the evening.
I hope this is a good thing...and looks like a normal surge...
I don't test BBT, but I think I will start to... thank you!

@TTCRach that all sounds perfectly normal then :) I'm on my third cycle off the pill (about 4 months off) and I wish I had a normal surge like that! I don't have PCOS as far as I'm aware, but apparently you can develop 'post-pill' PCOS, which i'm concerned about as I'm not entirely sure if I'm ovulating since coming off, and I also had multiple LH surges in the first cycle I tracked, and this cycle I've had my LH getting higher and higher over about 15 days but never a positive. Currently on CD43!

@MintGreenLife Sorry to hear that :( I have read so much conflicting info about coming off the pill, some say the first few months you are really fertile and some say that it takes a while to get back to normal.
It's so frustrating isn't it - we spend so much of our lives trying NOT to get pregnant, then we just expect our bodies to work when we click our fingers and decide it's the right time!
Good luck xx

@TTCRach it's tricky isn't it, and you just don't know which way it's going to pan out until you come off! Your OPKs look great though, so looks like you're heading in the right direction :) best of luck to you too xx
