Hi ladies, I'm currently on the mini pill and been having sore boobs lately (my usual first sign of pregnancy!) but thought it could just be down to the hormones in the mini pill.. well I thought I would just take a test anyway to rule it out and I thought it was negative, then a few mins later I took a second look and I'm sure I can see some sort of shadow of a line 😱 could you tell me your opinions please.. also has anyone got any experience of getting pregnant on the mini pill?

Hi @Twinmummyanda4yearold
I definitely see a shadow of a line in both your pictures.
I fell pregnant on the mini pill in May but unfortunately had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks.
I know many woman who have fallen pregnant on the mini pill and combined pill and gone on to gave lovely healthy babies x

I always get those type of lines on those tests and they aren’t ever proper BFPs. According to those I’ve been pregnant many more times than I actually have.

I’d just use a FRER, they are far more reliable

I can definitely see something on them but not enough to be sure. If you can retest in 2 days time the line should be very obvious if you are pregnant.

Do you know what type of test you used? Or what it's sensitivity is?

@Chicken123 thank you for your reply.. I thought I could see something but think I'm a bit in denial haha x

I can't really see anything.

I'd take another one first thing tomorrow morning when your HCG levels are at their highest and keep strictly to the time limit of the test. If you see anything after the time limit I'd say it was just leaked dye.

It's an Asda cheap one, part of a 2 pack for £3.50, think they're like 15miu maybe🤔 I used them when I got my first faint lines with my twins but I think they've changed them slightly as that was over 2 years ago.. I'm going to do a frer tomorrow I think if I can get hold of one today x
