I think I ovulated 5 days ago when I had EWCM, a migraine and cramps. All my typical ovulation symptoms although I understand that these aren’t exactly reliable! I had unprotected sex the day before and the day before that also.

Today I’ve had quite a lot of brown EWCM accompanied by period-like cramps in one side of my back and stomach which lasted about 10 minutes.

Does anyone have any experience of this or ideas of why this could be happening?

It sounds like typical implantation, although it's quite early.

Thank you. I suppose it could be possible I ovulated earlier than I thought as I had cramping and spotting (without EWCM) around 11 days ago and I had sex the day before that and the day before that as well.

Yes perfectly possible! My cycle is all over the place too, it's so hard to work it out sometimes! Are you going to test in a few days?

I’m going to try to leave it as long as I can but that will be hard! Period is due the 4th or 5th so I’m hoping to leave it until then. Are you testing this month?

I'm hoping to, I'm only 5dpo (I think) but also had some weirdness and I'm not sure if I ovulated then or not, but will probably test anyway like the poas addict I am!

Just joining in as I'm having the same at (according to OPK) 5 dpo. I'm still feeding my 13 month old though so my cycles are odd having only just come back. But I had a textbook LH surge, ewcm etc 5/6 days ago so who knows!?

Hi @Heyha good to talk to someone in a similar position! Sounds promising if you used OPKs and had EWCM. Hopefully this month is the month!

So had an unexpected squinter last night, bright white BFN this morning but I know the drill now 😂 will try to wait til tomorrow but I expect I will test again this afternoon just cos!

How exciting for you @Heyha are you 9dpo, same as me? I had a verrrry faint shadow on a IC yesterday, but testing today it looks the same so I'm doubting myself. Although it's obviously very early!

I think I'm 8 maybe 9...got 0.5 on my OPK today (am doing both POAS so I get both sets of info) so my tracker has just decided to shunt me into a normal next cycle assuming the bleeding I had was a period 🤷‍♀️ we shall see!
