Has anyone ever got a bfp and felt nothing, no cramps, no sore boobs, no tiredness etc?

Feel like I try so hard to spot symptoms but I feel totally normal.

Yes me! Only thing I did notice was at 7dpo cm completely dried up got my bfp at 9dpo and currently 16+4 today, cm came back at around 13dpo was a lotiony consistency and is still the same now. Other than that I had nada x

Your not out till AF shows, good luck x

Curiosity101 · 25/07/2020 08:10

I wasn't symptom spotting when I got my BFP so I could have had subtle symptoms that I never noticed. But back to your question, there was nothing that month that suggested I was pregnant.

I only tested because it was roughly around the time I'd have expected my period to start.

Most people don't start with symptoms until 5-6 weeks pregnant from what I've seen. And they really ramp up around week 8.

Elou26 · 25/07/2020 12:08

@Maidmummy congratulation on your pregnancy! ah that's good to hear lol. I don't feel any different I'm due between Monday and Friday (I have periods between 33-37 days). But just thought I would of felt light cramping or something. I do have a son but I cannot remember what it was like with him at all😂.

@Curiosity101 thanks for the reply! Hopefully you are right 🙈. Just need to wait and see if AF turns up!

Hiya I had no pregnancy symptoms apart from no period..Finally did a test and I was 5 weeks pregnant...had some bleeding at around 12 weeks but all was fine and I was totally the same throughout my pregnancy x

Elou26 · 25/07/2020 13:21

@starfish18 thank you! Just see so many people having symptoms and I feel nothing 🙈😂. Aw that's good everything was ok! Your lucky having nothing the whole pregnancy lol.

Yep, I feel like a fraud in early pregnancy. Being cautious with myself, watching what I'm eating and pregnancy vitamins with zero symptoms.

Then a few weeks later I start throwing up and that lasts 2 months ish and I stop feeling like a fraud! Not that I ever was of course.

starfish18 · 25/07/2020 13:52

@Elou26 ye Hun literally nothing...I was my normal self throughout xx

I think when we spend a lot of time around TTC / Pregnancy forums it skews our views a little. Lots of people on forums will be very experienced symptom spotters and so much more attuned to little changes.

But tbh there is probably a bias in what people say was a symptom prior to their BFP. Most people don't get pregnant many times, so most people have a sample size of 1 or 2 times in which they could have possibly had spotted symptoms. It's more like 'This is what I noticed in the days prior to my BFP', but unless you have several pregnancies and consistently feel those specific symptoms... who's to say it's not as a result of something completely unrelated.

So definitely don't let yourself worry. You're not out unless AF shows up! Grin Good luck!

Elou26 · 25/07/2020 14:56

@Curiosity101 thank you! I know what you mean, people could think they had symptoms but it was due to something else. Aw well here's hoping no signs are good signs 🙈

Nope nothing... started feeling tired and dizzy at about 6 weeks pregnant but never had sore boobs, nausea or cramps really. Certainly nothing before BFP and believe me I was symptom spotting constantly 🤣

Elou26 · 25/07/2020 17:14

@bluebell94 thank you! That gives me some hope 😂! Lol

I'm now 9 weeks with twins via IVF and I felt nothing in the 2ww - zilch - was convinced it hasn't worked. I didn't get tiredness until maybe 5 weeks pregnancy and I still don't feel sick or have sore boobs

tizzybelle · 25/07/2020 21:01

Didn’t notice anything during my TWW. I had some spotting and thought AF had come early so thought I was out. Now at 5 weeks and I feel tired, boobs are v sensitive and a bit of nausea but even so not that bad. Famous last words lol I’m sure Wink

Elou26 · 25/07/2020 21:07

@tizzybelle @ivfdreaming congratulations to you both! Good too know a lot of people don't notice anything, I was thinking I was out! Lol

CC12x · 25/07/2020 21:27

Nottherealslimshady · 25/07/2020 21:45

I had more symptoms last month than I did this month when I got my BFP! 😂

Elou26 · 25/07/2020 22:07

👏🏻👏🏻 loving these posts lol makes you realise symptom spotting can make you feel a bit crazy! Crossing my fingers it's a good sign for me too ladies !

Both times! With my first I had no symptoms but was charting temperature which made me test and got a bfp after years of trying, symptoms hit hard around 8 weeks though.

2nd I tested because I'd just had some new tests delivered and hadn't put them away yet. Didn't think there was any chance as there were no signs.

Elou26 · 26/07/2020 12:50

@majesticallyawkward I've not been temping I was using opks but the last 2 months after my chemical pregnancy I have been ovulating late on day 24 very odd (well going by the positive opks). Thanks for the message! I'm going to test middle of the week 🙈

Isthisfinallyit · 26/07/2020 12:57

I felt nothing during my pregnancies till I was 8 weeks+. Then nausea would hit all of a sudden.

In fact, I have more stmptoms when I'm not pregnant arounf AF date than when I am!
