Implantation bleeding and Testing time

I'm hoping someone can give me a bit of insight/advice. Apologies if some TMI!

I think I just had implantation bleeding. I'm on day 23 of what is usually a 28/30 day cycle. I don't do ovulation testing so I have no idea when that happens . However yesterday I went to the toilet in the morning and there was some dark red/brown blood in my underwear. I was surprised as I usually have some pretty clear signs before AF arrives (moodiness, very sore boobs, light cramping) but there has been absolutely nothing. It's about 48h later now and the bleeding/spotting has stopped. It required light panyliner to protect my pants but didn't ever "fill" them (I imagine the full amount over two days would have amounted to one light panyliner worth) .

My questions are: does this sound like implantation bleeding to anyone? And if it does - how early can I test? I know I should probably just wait a week to see if AF arrives and not piss away my money on early testing but I am mega impatient

Hi @Mana89 it does sound like it could be! It’s difficult not knowing when you’ve ovulated but probably give it a couple more days an then test? If you can wait haha.

I am 7dpo today and had the tiniest ever pink dot on the toilet paper when I wiped and have been wondering the same. We have secondary infertility though so I would be shocked if it is. I’m gonna test Sunday I think (9dpo) xx

Thanks @Mctm123! I think I needed someone to advise me to hold out on the testing. I will wait with you until at least Sunday!

Hahah. I say Sunday but let’s see if I can wait that long! Have you had any other symptoms?

Well, the day before I started bleeding I cried three times for almost no reason. But generally it's the absolute lack of any other symptoms which surprised me. Let me know if you test earlier so I can cave . I will cross my fingers for you.

Hi I’m in a similar situation too! Had some light pinky/brown spotting from weds-today just tiny amounts and AF isn’t due for another week. This has only happened once before & that time I was pregnant (although ended in MC).

I tested this morning which was negative but was probably far too early. It could be something or nothing! Hate the waiting part lol I’m very impatient! X

I had implantation bleeding (was quite light just flecks if blood in my normal CM) on the 3rd & 4th of April, then got my first BFP on the 5th April! Nearly 20 weeks now 😄 good luck OP xx
