I just did an OPK for an absolute laugh because since I last went for a wee I've had 3 glasses of prosecco, a pint and a half of Diet Coke and a fizzy water, and it looks like this. I think possibly it's another peak today, but as we know that means nothing!

@Firevie good work on DTD! Men are so fickle 😂

@SmileyT they were bad, I was disgusted with myself anyway, but going out in shorts when my friend was training with me was the motivation I needed. Obviously she didn't go anywhere near my legs but still...saved me doing it for today!

Much planned this weekend?

@VP91x hope you're enjoying your dinner party xx

Still here girls but all went well just waiting for the numbness to go from my legs and also remove the catheter 🤦🏽‍♀️, then i need to make sure i can pee on my own, so might be tomorrow im out but at least all went on, justbelly and backaches now that im have paracetamol drip for so hopefully that kicks in soon and eases this throbbing type pain xx

Thanks for ur well wishes 😘

2020wish · 31/07/2020 19:44

@Hayleylou89 glad all went well! Fingers crossed for a continue healthy rest of ur pregnancy x

SmileyT · 31/07/2020 19:53

@Firevie yep you'll definitely be covered if you DTD the next couple days aswell 👌🏾 and yeah don't drink if it's going to make you anxious but still it's your choice nobody else's, but in FW best to stay friends 😂

@Lollol86 yes fingers crossed you ovulated soon and into the TWW x

@MichT4 I'm finding it annoying that I can't wear tights at the moment so having to shave my legs all the time, one thing I do prefer about winter 🙈 I feel like I'm always saying this but I don't plan on doing much, DP wants to bbq tomorrow and I'll probably finish new girl 😭 ooh I keep meaning to ask actually, what do you watch MAFS on? Also I reckon that opk looks dark but not quite peak x

@Hayleylou89 glad everything went well and hope you're home soon x

MichT4 · 31/07/2020 20:05

@SmileyT no that's not peak looking, the one earlier was super dark (as was yesterday's) and was 1.12 on the app so I think that could have been it. That last one was mega diluted. I'd drunk loads all day so the fact it was still that dark made me think it could be peak underneath all the liquid. I don't know why I took it but I did 😂 I'll try and do another tomorrow before we head off.

MAFS is on E4, definitely get on it. I was so sad when we finished new girl 😭.

Mommybear05 · 31/07/2020 20:22

@Rainbowhope11 thank you ❤️ Yes I’ve got a second opinion for Tuesday. I know it sounds bad but I’m not keen on my gp- she’s fobbed me off in the past. And you’re right I am so not up for waiting about for three months. Enjoy your bd :) xx

Mommybear05 · 31/07/2020 20:26

@calimommy thank you so much for your response very helpful and I have a secondary question if you don’t mind please...

As a ttc breastfeeding momma for over a year I’ve surely heard of Angus cactus and have a massive jar of the stuff in the cupboard. I stopped taking it because I thought if I do get pregnant what I’m earth would I do??? Carry on taking it? Stop? Can you take it pregnant? If I stop abruptly will that be dangerous in early pregnancy? Can I ask you experiences of this? Xx

Mommybear05 · 31/07/2020 20:27

@Northernsoul90 thank you 😊 very emotional today but sometimes you got to let it all out and then carry on xx

Mommybear05 · 31/07/2020 20:28

@MichT4 ooh what breed? X

Rainbowhope11 · 31/07/2020 20:29

@HopeForRainbowbaby yay!! We can be tww buddies!💃🏻😁

Mommybear05 · 31/07/2020 20:31

@SmileyT aw I remember that hungover feeling. I heard it’s the hcg that causes the nausea so it’s god for your pregnancy ❤️ Hmm yes I’m open to going private- I paid private for my scan when I miscarried- but I think I’ll wait til Tuesday when I can get a second opinion off another gp first xx

Mommybear05 · 31/07/2020 20:34

@Hayleylou89 glad to hear that the operation went well :) take it easy and here’s to a speedy recovery and a healthy pregnancy xx

MichT4 · 31/07/2020 20:38

@Mommybear05 a collie. I just can't decide if I'm being totally whimsical and trying to replace the baby we haven't had. OH wants a dog one day anyway, so it will happen, I just can't decide what to do. Do you have pets? xx

Jazper · 31/07/2020 20:43

Do it @MichT4 !!!!
He can be a right pain in the ass though. Not gonna sugar coat it 😂 but the joy he gives us far outweighs the occasional con (like when he finds a cat to chase in the surrounding fields and comes home three hours later stinking of fox poo...) 🙈😫😆

Hayley19835 · 31/07/2020 20:46

@Hayleylou89 glad you got on ok 😊

@Mommybear05 so sorry to hear about your useless doctor I had the same issue with mine she told me to relax and not over think things! I got a 2nd opinion but I waited 3 months like she had told me too and the doctor I saw 2nd time round was not impressed I'd been told to relax and wait 3 months! He referred me straight away to women's health who deal with fertility in our area and ordered bloods. Hope you get some where at your 2nd opinion xx

Jazper · 31/07/2020 20:53

@Mommybear05 I'm so sorry you've had a shitty day. I really sympathised with you having to step back from socialising with your family ❤️

MichT4 · 31/07/2020 21:02

@Jazper how cute is he? Do you find it expensive? And did you have to do much prep for him coming home? I just don't really know what to expect, and will it be a big tie? I mean I know it is but it's a big decision and I don't want to regret it.
But when I see a face like that I just think how amazing it would be.

How old is he, and what kind of pup? xx

Pugprincess · 31/07/2020 21:13

@MichT4 yes doooo it lol (puppy) My dog keeps me company and gives me motivation to go for a walk no matter how I’m feeling. He’s literally my fur baby and I would hate to be without him. They liken getting a puppy to a baby don’t they lol, be a good practice run 🤪

Pugprincess · 31/07/2020 21:27

@MichT4 if you don’t fancy the puppy stage you could always rehome an older one too. The toilet training takes a bit so good to do it if your home lots. We got ours when I was on a summer holiday so I had weeks to be taking him out. We used puppy pads which you can buy from b and m etc (pets at home are more pricey I think 💭) and you move them nearer to back door gradually and just praise etc. We taught ours the work ‘toilet’ so even now if I want him to try and go I will send him in garden with that command lol.

calimommy · 31/07/2020 21:42

@Mommybear05 I usually keep taking it until 12ish weeks. I did that with DS3 pregnancy as I was afraid to suddenly stop -which could be absolute nonsense as I've no conclusive evidence it has any affect at all. Obviously I was more concern it would do harm to the foetus but I could find nothing to suggest it would. I would say my third is my cleverest child too 😂 I'm
Joking but he certainly hasn't had any negative effects. I took it with my last pregnancy which I lost and I've continued taking it this time as well, just one tablet per day. I take it at night time with my multi vit -if I'm asleep I don't vomit the multi vit back up 😂

If you are still BF and have had a MC I'd say your hormones must be quite out of whack, which would absolutely explain spotting. It is so very frustrating for you, but not unexpected given your situation. Before I tried the AC that first time, my GP had put me on the OCP to settle my cycle but that didn't help (within a 2 month time frame) so I tried the AC.

Jazper · 31/07/2020 21:46

It is a big decision @MichT4 and it's absolutely right to think hard and ask lots of questions. So many people have flippantly got dogs during lockdown and rehoming rates are on the up ☹️
He's not expensive at all but he's only small and luckily very healthy and 'easy to do'. Never sick or sorry. Unfortunately you can't bank on any dog being so fit and well and vets bills are extortionate but insurance can relieve the burden of big bills.
He's a Patterdale Terrier and about 7 or 8 years old 🤔 we inherited him when his owner (a family friend) suddenly passed away. We've had him two years now and he is absolutely the best thing to have happened to our family. He's impeccable with the kids and sleeps under the covers with my eldest daughter every single night.
They are tying though. You do have to sacrifice long days out or make arrangements to have them looked in on and/or walked. High kennel rates when you go on holiday unless you have pet friendly family. Collies are highly intelligent and require masses of stimulation both physically and mentally. Having said that, they are so eager to please and easy to train with time expended on them. Xx

Jazper · 31/07/2020 21:50

@Mommybear05
I absolute echo what @calimommy said about your hormones being haywire while bf'ing.
How many cycles post mc are you? And how much is your LO feeding?

Mommybear05 · 31/07/2020 21:58

@MichT4 I did have two cats- Siberian forest cats. They were absolutely beautiful. But I sadly rehomed them
When my son was four months as he was badly allergic (his skin blistered around them!) it upset me so much 😭
I think a collie would bring you some happiness for sure. Are you available for walks and all the other doggy commitments?? My mom got a new pet poodle the week I miscarried and he has become my sons best friend. Moms house is en route to the park on our estate so we pick him up when we walk to the park and drop him off on the way home haha. Have you seen a collie you like? I love dogs but can’t commit to having a dog of my own- cats were easier but I prefer the company of a dog xx
