@Rebecca1992 I know it’s terrible for a parent to behave like that. I let it annoy me through my previous pregnancies this year but after losing those pregnancies I’ve given stress a back seat and have actually being doing really well with not letting things stress me.

Oh twins how exciting! Friends and family keep saying twins for me also as I got a good positive that’s wasn’t a squinter at 7dpo and then a 3+ At 3/4 days after my missed AF and my cycles are only 29/30 days. I’m happy with one tho but twins would be lovely ! Have

MrsK21 · 29/07/2020 22:28

@Northernsoul90 aw sorry you had that experience today, it's so shit when it feels like everyone is pg around you. I think we're all happy for others but just sad for ourselves.
My husbands cousin had a baby yesterday along with one of my work friends. It's been hard to say the least.

@MichT4 oh yeah that photo does look dark! Going by that pic a peak on those would definitely be way darker than control line. Hopefully becomes clearer as you keep testing.
Got my nails done and already chipped one by cutting some of the end off with a kitchen knife 🙄

@VP91x hope Bella has been Ok this evening x

VP91x · 30/07/2020 07:10

Morning ladies ❤️
Sorry I went a bit quiet last night, was just dealing with the aftermath of Coco's death. We buried her in the garden under a little tree that we bought recently that Bella likes. It was so sad and Bella kept saying night night coco, have a nice sleep, which made us both cry. I felt so drained by it all - I hope that doesn't sound dramatic. Anyway, we got her some ice cream after with extra sprinkles. I ended up falling asleep on the sofa so early!

Only update from me is that my Inofolic Alpha arrived yesterday and I started taking it.

@Rainbowhope11 this is what you recommended too (I think) 🥰 so thank you. How are you getting on? Xx

@SmileyT she definitely didn't really understand. When we showed her, she just wanted her to wake up and play. I think when we buried her, she kind of understood that she wouldn't see her again. She's fine this morning though so far. I'm glad everything with you and little bean🥰 that hungover/sicky feeling is so draining! Hopefully by second tri you'll get a burst of energy Xxx

@DBTJ I'm glad all is okay, I hope the bleedjng resolves itself quickly. Glad you have another scan next week, and they are looking after you well.

@Rebecca1992 @2020wish I'm so glad that both your little beans are doing well and not long until scans. So exciting 🥰 how crazy if you both had twins with your super high HCG levels! 💁

Welcome @AR52 so sorry for your loss as others have said probably a tad early to test and definitely possible that you could be pregnant again. Test again in a couple of days and I hope you get a BFP xx

@MichT4 I've gone back to femometer this month too, the EAH ones just are too dark always for my liking although now I've seen @chloedancer897 ones you do see a clear pic on them. I'm glad you you feel fab after your hair and great that they test it on a patch before you committing to a colour that's a great idea! Sorry your sister was a bit flippant with her comments, it doesn't help at all xx

@Northernsoul90 I hope you are ok? I'm sorry it was a tough day 😔. Xx

@MrsK21 ah how annoying 😩 that's why I never bother with mine, I'm forever chipping /picking the colour off. Thank you ❤️

Hey ladies, little update from me as its been a bit of a whirlwind week. Its a lonng one sorry..

So I went for my first cervical scan last thurs (12+2) and was told my cervix was measuring short at 28mm but to wait until 17 weeks to be seen again as its still above the 25mm threshold, but i requested to be seen before i go away at around 15.5 weeks which they agreed....however sunday i was given the dog a shower and felt fluid (like water but bit takey) on my pjs (not sure if it just come out in one go or what) anyway i panicked obv as this is somethin that happened last time, except it was slight pinky last time) so i called emergency room and they asked me to come straight in which i did, they checked to make sure it wasnt my waters and thankfully it wasnt, it was probably just a watery discharge ...but they said they would let preterm clinic know and they would probably want to measure me before 15 weeks because of what happened, monday i get a call from preterm labour, just a nurse not my consultant askin how i felt the next day and had i leaked more so in said no more leakage and i just felt a bit belly achy, but she said dnt worry we will just see u at ur next appt no need to come in, so when i got off the phone i was just worrying and worrying thinkin surely i should be measured again and not wait another 2.5 weeks, so i emailed my consultant, felt terrible emailing his uni email as i also work with him at the uni and hes the head of womens hospital too and just said what happened sunday and how i felt and straight away he said come into clinic tomorrow (which was yesterday) and ill see u... so i went in and thank god i did!! He scanned the baby first, gave us a 4d tour and confirmed my water were fine and that he was perfect and def had a willy 🤦🏽‍♀️💙... then checked my cervix and my god am i glad i went in... my cervix had shortened again in just 6 days to 20mm from 28mm which was 5mm below the intervention threshold... he said straight away your going into theatre and having the cervical stitch on friday!! Absolutely terrified girls but i know its for the best and he said he wants to be 6 weeks ahead this time because of what happened last time when i got to just over 20 weeks... just got to pray it holds until 37 weeks and my waters dont break earlier again 🙏😢 xx the worry and anxiety is alot!! But i can do this!! 👌🏼

Hope ur all ok x x and will leave this on a happy note including some pics and a fab 4d one at just 13.2 weeks... hes teeny and looks snug as a bug 💙

@MrsK21 @VP91x Thank you both, I am okay it's just hard isn't it... nobody understands either other than you ladies so it's nice to know I'm not alone in my feelings xx

@VP91x Aww that's so sad bless Bella wanting her to wake up and play 😢. I hope you are okay today ❤️. Ooh that's good that it's arrived, should that help in regulating your cycle? Xx

@Hayleylou89 Wow you've had a whirlwind few days! I'm so glad the consultant saw you in the end though!! I know it's scary having the stitch put in but just think once its done it might put your mind at rest and allow you to feel a bit less anxious about things and will just keep baby nice and snug in there. Will be thinking about you on Friday! Wishing you lots of luck and best wishes for then! 🙏🏼💕 Lovely scan pics he does look very cozy! Xx

DBTJ · 30/07/2020 07:54

@Hayleylou89

Glad baby ok make sure you try and rest as much as you can. I would deffo say we all know our body and when something doesn't feel right get it checked out no matter how small

MichT4 · 30/07/2020 08:00

@MrsK21 how annoying about your nail - that is exactly what I would do!

@MrsK21 @VP91x Yeah it's annoying with the OPKs as it did look really dark, but then the femometer ones were still pretty dark too, it's just annoying not having the comparison I guess. I'll keep with them now, because I have 49 left and seems silly to just not use them. I might get on fine with them in the end. I'm in the office today so I plan to stop drinking around lunchtime and then test when I get home.

@Hayleylou89 gosh what a few days you've had. Good for you for going with your gut feeling on it. It's reassuring that you're being well looked after and hopefully from tomorrow you'll feel more comfortable with everything. And you got some more gorgeous scan pics too!

@VP91x that must have been hard last night - quite a day you ended up having. I hope today is much better xx

Mommybear05 · 30/07/2020 08:05

@VP91x so sorry to hear of the loss of coco :( big hugs xxxx

@Hayleylou89 hello! Oh gosh that sounds like such a worry to go through! I’m so very glad that they are offering you this treatment. And good for you using your initiative to send that email. I will be thinking of you on Friday. Let us know how you get on. Gorgeous scan pictures! Xxx

Thanks again for the happy birthday wishes yesterday. I had a really good day 😀 I spotted again on the night, cd24. It was a pink colour. Definitely pink. So that’s spotting on cd 22 which was brown and cd24 pink. My cervix is high and soft and cm is still creamy/ watery. Usually by now cm has gone very sticky but not this month. So I’m trying not to get excited but I think I’m in with a shot this month! But if af comes and I get a bfn, I want to see my gp. I’ve read that spotting within 3 days of period is normal but my spotting is usually cd 24 and this time cd 22. If I’m not pregnant, why the spotting? Can’t be ovulation as I tested and it was cd 15! I know I asked before and a few of you girls were kind enough to tell me all
About your spotting. Can I ask, those of you who spot between periods, what cd does it normally fall on and how close is it to af? Thanks hope you all have a nice day xx

VP91x · 30/07/2020 08:14

@Hayleylou89 wow, I'm so glad you persevered and got checked out by the consultant. Honestly, our instincts are so strong with things like this. I'm not sure what the procedure is for the cervical stitch but I hope it isn't too uncomfortable and all goes well. Look after yourself and get lots of rest ❤️ xx

@Northernsoul90 you are definitely not alone 🥰

I know bless her 😔

Yeah, so these are the things it says it helps with :

Inofolic®Alpha will help to:
Improve your ovulation rate
Improve the quality of oocytes (eggs)
Improve insulin resistance
Reduce inflammation
Improve how your body absorbs myo-inositol
Rebalance your hormones

Xx

@MichT4 yeah you'll be fine with them and the premom app is really good at reading them fairly accurately so, you'll be good at comparing them on there 🥰. Yes, today will be a good day, sun's out 🥳.

How are you otherwise? Xx

OP posts:
VP91x · 30/07/2020 08:17

@Mommybear05 I'm glad you had a great day, sounds positive so far and I really hope that you get a BFP!

I know my experience might be skewed as I now know I have PCOS which causes the spotting but I was getting it 5 days before AF. It went red by the second day really, sometimes a bit of brown but it would progressively get more. Xx

OP posts:
Northernsoul90 · 30/07/2020 08:23

That sounds promising @VP91x 😊 I hope you get some good results with it!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼xx

@Mommybear05 I'm glad you had a nice day for your birthday! Fingers crossed for a BFP 🤞🏼 xx

MichT4 · 30/07/2020 08:31

@Mommybear05 Sounds like you had a lovely birthday which is great! I hope you get the best present of all with a BFP.

@VP91x yeah I am fine thank you. Woke up expecting my nice curled hair to be intact but of course it looked like a mangled nest, so was running a little behind this morning 😂. Oddly hoping to see another peak OPK later, just because I want the chance to ovulate! I had some EWCM last night so I'm hoping the next time should be it!
How are you? xx

VP91x · 30/07/2020 08:36

@Northernsoul90 thank you, they are sachets that you take twice a day. The reviews look promising. How are you today? Xx

@MichT4 😂😂😂 oh no!! Did you manage to rescue it? Oooh yay to EWCM. Who knew we would get excited about this stuff!?

My femometer OPKs arrive later so I might pee on one. My temps have been so stable too.. I forgot to change my temping method so sticking to the usual xx

OP posts:
MichT4 · 30/07/2020 08:43

@VP91x I just straightened it. It was too early to think about a curl attempt and I'm sure it would have failed miserably 😂. Why can't it last after the hairdresser does it??
I know, I had a little celebration to myself - ridiculous.

I think I might try that Alpha stuff - my cycles are so long, they could help, and it could still be the PCOS causing it. My last scans didn't show it, but it could still be an underlying cause for the late ovulation etc. I'll wait to see what happens this cycle and then I might start it - not sure about taking it sooner in case it further confuses an already confused ovulation!

I think your temping is fine - it's easy to want to change things after a surprising revelation like your PCOS, but it hasn't really failed you and you still see a trend either way, just might be less clear some ways than others. And yes, you always have to test a stick as soon as they arrive! Fingers crossed you kick PCOS in the face on the first cycle! xx

VP91x · 30/07/2020 08:50

@MichT4 haha, trickery to make you think you could look like that everyday. Mine does the same.

Yeah, give it a go. I do think it takes a couple of months for it to kick in like with any supplement, but hopefully the little changes start making a difference to my hormones. Hopefully I can try and pinpoint ovu this month so I can get my blood test done on the right day.

EWCM is always a cause for celebration 🥳 xx

OP posts:
Northernsoul90 · 30/07/2020 09:00

@MichT4 Hoping for another peak for you!! You've waited long enough! If you've been regularly dtd anyway though you should still be covered whenever you ovulate 🤞🏼 I know we just want to know what's going on though. EWCM is a good sign ☺️☺️ xx

@VP91x I am good thank you nothing much to report, I should be 6/7dpo today going off static smiley and the pains that I had. Still taking the calc Fluor and Pom juice I'm just praying for a miracle - I know it's kind of unlikely in the first cycle after mc especially as I've not had af yet but I'm just trying to be positive. Every now and then a thought creeps into my mind thinking if I don't get a bfp what if something is wrong because I wouldn't have had af since the mc but I'm just trying to put that to the back of my mind! Xx

MichT4 · 30/07/2020 09:07

@Northernsoul90 thank you, I hope so. Yeah we have been DTD at least every other day so I feel like we would be covered whatever happens. I just want to feel like I'm in with a chance. Like you said, its first cycle so I can only hope for a happy surprise, but just knowing it could happen is nicer than feeling I know it definitely won't.

How lovely being a week into the TWW, fingers crossed for you. If you've ovulated you are just as likely as any other month! And if it's not this month, then you should at least get AF, which will be a reassuring sign also. Let's hope there's no AF though, for the right reasons xx

Mommybear05 · 30/07/2020 09:11

@MichT4 @Northernsoul90 thank you!
@VP91x yes I’ve read that More than three days before af due is not ‘normal’ (or whatever that is- sorry for the word!) and I’ve also been spotting over Three days before af due every month. Like I say, I’ll see what this month brings and then if af comes I will see my gp. Hope you’re feeling alright today xx

2020wish · 30/07/2020 09:20

@VP91x aww poor Bella, I’m glad she got a we sent off and is ok today, she might come at you at an unexpected time and ask a few questions once the dust settles. This is what my daughter did. I’m sure u were mentally exhausted last night with the thoughts how how you would tell her and planning a wee funeral etc so no wonder you fell asleep so early.

@Hayleylou89 oh how scary!! So glad you go seen and that’s are taking action on Friday. How ur ok. That’s must of been very traumatic for you. Your pictures look amazing. Sending all the sticky vibes and positives thoughts I can to a full term pregnancy!!

@Mommybear05 fingers crossed for BFP this month. When are u testing

@Northernsoul90 fingers crossed for a BFP for you also. When will u test

VP91x · 30/07/2020 09:23

@Mommybear05 yes definitely call them and they can do your day 3 and day 21 bloods? Hopefully you won't need them! Xx

@Northernsoul90 oooh 7dpo already! That's gone quickly. Not long now until testing. So hopeful for you this month ❤️

OP posts:
Northernsoul90 · 30/07/2020 10:12

@MichT4 @2020wish @VP91x Thank you 🥰 I know it does feel like it's gone quickly which is a shock - tww normally drags on forever. I will probably hold out from testing as long as I can just because I don't like being in limbo getting a negative and then having to wait to retest. I'd rather just get a definite answer. I'm going to try and hold out until next Sunday which would be either 16/17 dpo, I'm waiting as long as I can in case I ovulated a little later than I thought and also allowing for af coming late as it would be first one since mc.

Pugprincess · 30/07/2020 10:23

Just caught up! Not much to update you on with me, I’m just plodding along in the tww, wondering when to count my dpo from lol. Still healthy eating and walking. Trying to keep busy at home with painting and gardening etc. Just ordered a dishwasher that’s coming next thurs, I’ve never owned one before! Looking forward to having an easier life regarding washing up. Another little way to help day to day stress I suppose 😅
@VP91x so sorry to hear about coco 😞
@MichT4 egg white is a fantastic sign, hopefully that eggs imminent now 🤞🏻
@Northernsoul90 when do you count dpo from? I had my peak Sunday night, so not sure when to count from. I assuming it’s all over now but will dtd every other to cover just incase.
@Hayleylou89 just shows how much you have to argue for things doesn’t it, like that nurse would have let you wait and it could have gone wrong. So scary. I’m so glad they are getting you in for op, will your cervix length improve after op or stay same? Are you taking bed rest till Friday? Think I would. Take care and best of luck with the op will be thinking of you and eagerly awaiting an update when you feel well enough. Question...do they take the stitch out towards end of pregnancy and let you go into labour? No idea how it works.

Pugprincess · 30/07/2020 10:28

Peak Sunday at cycle day 18. Do I count from Monday? If so today’s 4dpo

Northernsoul90 · 30/07/2020 10:37

@Pugprincess I think everyone is different but I usually count from the day of peak as I always see a peak first thing in the morning (from past cycles) and I get ovulation pains as well which normally come on mid morning to early afternoon. This time I'm not sure though as I'm not expecting my body to be back to how it used to be - I had ovulation type pains both on the day of peak and the day after so I'm 7/6dpo going from day of peak and day after. Xx

Pugprincess · 30/07/2020 10:46

@Northernsoul90 ah ok I had ovulation pains then got two days of highs then peak 😩🙈😂 maybe I should count from Monday then and hope for the best with this one. Thanks xx
