@Lollol86 I know it is so pricey 😩 but you seem to get quite alot of activities. They do toy making which they get to keep, gingerbread making, theres ice skating too and ofc father christmas at the end. I booked for Nov 17th because it was £69pp so ended up at £243 once I'd added in some ticket insurance etc. I'm such a sucker for Christmas things! Xx

Lollol86 · 27/07/2020 18:06

@VP91x that does sound amazing. I love Christmas 🎄

SmileyT · 27/07/2020 18:28

@MichT4 I feel ya, Monday always comes around too quick and I definitely jinxed myself saying that I had a quiet day 😂 really hope you see a temp rise tomorrow x

@VP91x ahh yeah don't worry about me I'm still here, just trying to avoid thinking too much about the scan next week by distracting myself. So glad the Drs appt was productive and good to have loads of dates that you can look forward to and gain more info if you get to that stage but still hoping you won't need them. What do you have planned for your last week off work? And DIY left? Also yay to Lapland 🥳

Also can I just say to all you mummies out there that are entertaining little ones especially if you're trying to work at the same time, I salute you, I have my nephews for a couple nights and honestly I end up napping on the stairs in between games as I'm exhausted 😂

Mommybear05 · 27/07/2020 18:56

@SmileyT could the exhaustion also be to early pregnancy for you??? Haha

Girls I’m spotting today. Cd22. 7 days post ovulation. For the last few months since mc I spot every time before af but it’s always cd 24 or 25. What’s going on? 😫 I know 7 days post ovulation could be implantation but I always hold on to that when I have spotting before af and get my dreams dashed!
On the plus side there will be a December baby in the family this year after all- just been told my uncles gf is pg 😃 x

fafi · 27/07/2020 19:15

@2020wish sorry you're not feeling good! I hope you're managing to find some reassurance in your symptoms despite feeling so crap! Glad you had a lovely birthday and told some friends 😊

@VP91x aww I'm so glad you had a positive appointment and you have progress there!

@Tink20058 flutters! How exciting! 🦋

@Ra1nb0w123 welcome to the group and sorry for your loss. Although it can be implantion cramps try not to symptom spot too much it can drive you potty! Time will tell 🔮

@MrsK21 I hope your appointment goes ok and brings you some calm.

@Hayley19835 oooh fingers crossed! ✨

Mommybear05 · 27/07/2020 19:17

@VP91x the polar express idea is fab! Got me thinking I might sort it for my son’s birthday. How are you? How did your appointment go today? Xx

MrsK21 · 27/07/2020 19:56

I just got back from my appointment and due to a delay with the last patient, the consultant didn't have time to scan me today! So I have to go back for bloods and a scan tomorrow. Feeling a bit annoyed tbh.

Saying that, she did reassure me that it doesn't sound like there is any underlying issue and it's most likely a case of my body taking a while to recover and just being slow about it. Which whilst it's good to hear, is annoying when you want to crack on with TTC.

@VP91x did the clinic you did your bloods and scan give you results that day? Did you mention it was privately done?

Hope everyone's having a good day as well xxx

Northernsoul90 · 27/07/2020 20:18

@Mommybear05 Lovely news about a December baby in the family ☺️ I would have suggested implantation bleeding but if spotting is the norm for you I'm not sure? Fingers crossed it is that though 🤞🏼🤞🏼 it is early than usual so very possible! Xx

@MrsK21 How frustrating for you 😩 I would be annoyed too. At least you are back in tomorrow though and don't have to wait much longer! Xx

VP91x · 27/07/2020 20:22

@SmileyT exciting that it is only next week although I'm sure it is feeling like a lifetime for you! Not long to go 🤞. So much still to do with the house, but will just tidy things up a bit more this week and sort out my desk in the spare room for the days I'm WFH. Haha, mini naps I love it. Xx

@Mommybear05 did you ovulate any earlier this cycle? That could be why.. Or it might still be IB. The spotting is the most frustrating thing to happen. Maybe your doctor can recommend to take something for it if it is the start of AF?

Ooh it was @Lollol86 that was looking at Polar Express it does look good! I've booked Lapland 🥰. I'm okay! Appt was positive got a referral to gynae for 16th Sept and I'll have my bloods done again later this month to check if I've actually ovulated. Xx

@MrsK21 oh no!! Was this Consultation through the NHS? What time do you have to go back in tomorrow?

Yes, I had my bloods done from my doctor. I managed to get a slot like 10mins after when I called to book with the community hospital and then the same day I paid to have a private scan done. Surprisingly the bloods came back the next day, and I already had the results from the private scan. Xx

MrsK21 · 27/07/2020 20:23

@Northernsoul90 it honestly was awful, such a build up and then a huge disappointment. I was waiting over an hour as well and getting stressed out to the point I cried. I really hope the sonographer can let me know tomorrow if they see any issues on the scan

Northernsoul90 · 27/07/2020 20:23

Does anyone else feel really lethargic after their mc? Honestly I've been saying for weeks I need to cut all the crap from my diet and start moving more again but I just have no motivation. I think it's because in the back of my mind I'm thinking it's pointless if I get pregnant and gain weight anyway but I know that's not the right attitude to have. Normally when I want to shift a bit of weight I cut calories to about 1200 but I don't think that's great for ttc. I need to just stop eating as much junk and sugar and start yoga and walking again but I'm stuck in a rut... doesn't help that DH has a sweet tooth and can eat whatever he wants and not gain a pound. Sorry for the rambley post 🤣

Northernsoul90 · 27/07/2020 20:25

@MrsK21 I'm so sorry that happened it's really not fair for them to have you waiting around like that and then not even carry out the appointment properly. I should think they will do as they will be able to see the scan there and then so I can't see why not? I hope you get some answers tomorrow lovely 💕

MrsK21 · 27/07/2020 20:30

@VP91x the bloods are at 1.30 and the scan is at 7pm, luckily the hospital is a short walk from my house so I don't mind going in for 2 appointments if it means they get done quickly.
It was private through my works medical insurance. The consultant is one of their recommended and a fertility specialist so I was somewhat reassured that after she took my history, she didn't have any obvious concerns but did recommend with next pregnancy that she can prescribe baby aspirin which may help.
Also reckoned my random light spotting end of June was a "period" but extremely light as I'd lost a lot of blood.

That's amazing your bloods came back next day, hopefully I get a quick turnaround too.
I wish my GP was as helpful as yours sounds but genuinely my GP is really hit and miss, her helpfulness seems to depend on her mood on any given day.

@Northernsoul90 I totally agree on feeling lethargic. I was a complete gym bunny before mc and lockdown, now I can barely move myself from one room of the house to the other. I'm also craving to eat all the crap foods I can lay my hands on but being disciplined about it (for now). Combination of mc and lockdown has made me gain 5kg so I really could do with losing a few pounds or 10!

MichT4 · 27/07/2020 20:41

@SmileyT thanks lovely. I have temp spike pressure now, gonna be majorly pissed off if I wake up to coolness 😂

@MrsK21 how frustrating!! And I'm amazed it was a private appointment. That's pretty unprofessional, but at least you got a chat and appointments tomorrow. Lay it on thick so you get extra care.
I guess it could have been a light flow, which makes things less concerning. What CD would that make this now? Reassuring she isn't concerned too - fingers crossed for tomorrow.

@Northernsoul90 I was the same after, couldn't get back into wanting to do anything. Trying really hard this time to be better as I don't want to start pregnancy already wanting to lose weight. It's hard though. I think I'm almost punishing my body sometimes which is sad. We need to be looking after our babies homes!

@Mommybear05 that's strange about your spotting. The girls have given some good suggestions, maybe it's one of those. When will you consider testing?

xx

VP91x · 27/07/2020 20:43

@MrsK21 I took out some private health insurance a couple of months ago for me and Bella but because my symptoms were pre-existing they wouldn't cover the gynae on there so annoying 🙄.

She will definitely talk you through the scan tomorrow and I'm assuming as it is private bloods they will come back the same day hopefully or next day! Reassuring that she didn't see anything from your history.

Tbh I think my GP was just sick of me 😂 I asked alot of things xx

OP posts:
MrsK21 · 27/07/2020 20:46

I definitely will lay it on thick tomorrow @MichT4 great advice! I'm too nice about these things and didn't even make a fuss but I really should have.
CD61 if we ignore the extremely light spotting/period 😳 if it was an AF, I'm due for another any day then. Literally haven't got the foggiest what's going on anymore lol

SmileyT · 27/07/2020 20:49

@Mommybear05 yeah the exhaustion definitely comes with this pregnancy aswell 😂 I'm really hoping that the spotting is positive and not a sign of AF, when are you testing? x

@MrsK21 so frustrating about tests getting moved to tomorrow, the build up can actually be more stressful than the event and so annoying when it doesn't happen. But tomorrow hopefully you'll get everything sorted and can move towards some answers or some peace of mind x

@VP91x yeah all of yesterday I was saying to OH I can't wait for tomorrow because then i can say the scan is next week. Last time I only made it 4 days from BFP to getting a scan so I'm impressed with my patience. Yeah definitely make sure you've got a nice space to work from it'll make all the difference to being able to transition x

@Northernsoul90 my MC was in March but totally understand being lethargic, I was the same as @MrsK21 and a complete gym bunny, I'd go like 6 times a week even when I was pregnant and as soon as I had the MC which was right at the start of lockdown I just lost all motivation. I didn't even go for a walk in the 1st two weeks 🙈 now I'm desperately trying to lose a bit of weight so I can be nice and healthy but I'm in such bad habits it's so hard to break, whenever I wanted to lose weight before I'd be super focussed but I find it way too easy to sit on the sofa for hours and eat crap now, but I'm trying to stick to around 1500 calories a day but it's a real struggle 😩

@MichT4 like you've said don't put any pressure on yourself or your body this month, it would be great to see a picture perfect chart but as we're always saying temps are generally only clear once you've seen the whole cycle x

MrsK21 · 27/07/2020 20:49

@VP91x that's so ridiculous they didn't cover the gynae. Amazing how insurance companies can get out of basic things. Hopefully your NHS one goes better though, majority of the private consultants are NHS too and just do the private in evenings / weekends so you'll hopefully be seen by someone very experienced regardless!
I'm settling down with a huge glass of vino now seeing as I have no idea if there's AF/ TWW or anything anymore, may as well live a little while I can 🤪 x

Lollol86 · 27/07/2020 21:02

@Northernsoul90 I have been exactly the same, I have no motivation what so ever. All I want to do is lay on the sofa and eat shit

VP91x · 27/07/2020 21:04

@MrsK21 yeah you definitely have to kick up a fuss sometimes, otherwise they just do whatever suits them in that moment. Yeah, it was frustrating that they wouldn't cover it, but I got there in the end. What hospital did you go to? You're in Essex aren't you (sorry if I've got this completely wrong!!). You definitely deserve the largest glass of wine.

@SmileyT it'll be lovely when you have the scan and see your little bean🥰. Xx

OP posts:
MrsK21 · 27/07/2020 21:08

Spire Roding but the consultant also works in Spire Hartswood which is in proper Essex, I'm more in the London end of Essex.
Yes very true you've got seen to now and I think the only way for us all now is up @VP91x !

Mommybear05 · 27/07/2020 21:10

@Northernsoul90 @MichT4 @SmileyT thanks for the responses. It’s been cycle day 24 and 25 every month. I don’t know if I should book an appointment with my doctor because I read today if you spot more than three days before af it’s not normal and that has happened for me every single cycle since my mc. Def didn’t ovulate early. I used clear blue digital ovulation and I know ovulation happened on cd 15. So spotting cd22 a week after ovulation. In the past I always think it’s ib and it never is. I just cba to get excited about it just to be dashed again. I’ve been not feeling so great this 2ww. I keep getting very teary all the time. The other day I actually just said to hubby I need some time to myself and I went to the bedroom closed the door and just cried. Just fed up of ttc. I know it’s silly because lots of people ttc for longer than me and I have one child already I should count my blessings.
About the fitness- me too with the lethargy and I’ve put on weight. A few people have commented now I’ve gained weight and my clothes are not fitting. I too usually take 1200 when trying to shift a few pounds but don’t want to when ttc. With my son I was VERY sick and didn’t hold food down for ages and lost lots of weight. I was stick thin when he was born. But now I’ve allowed myself to put pounds on in anticipation for a pregnancy that hasn’t happened. Sorry for the moan girls. I’ve been really fed up lately. I think it’s cos it’s my birthday coming up and I wanted to be pregnant again for my 30th. If I hadn’t miscarried I should have been doing gender reveals for my 30th. But I need to stop thinking what if xx

VP91x · 27/07/2020 21:15

@MrsK21 the private scan clinic I went to was in Cranbrook Rd in Gants Hill. Yeah you're absolutely right xx

Trying to do OPKs when camping is almost impossible. One big '0' on the CB and all the easy@homes aren't working because I'm used to peeing in a cup 😂😂 also, TTC in a tent with your kids in the next room, not fun!
