Miscarriage? Confused

Hello!

I know everyone’s response most likely will be to call an early pregnancy centre at hospital but mine are only taking calls between 8:30am - 10:00am. So I have to wait until tomorrow morning.

I had all the symptoms of a chemical pregnancy/mc 4 weeks ago! I had dizziness, a lot of bleeding (a lot heavier than a period and continuously red).

I took a pregnancy test 3 weeks after the bleeding had stopped and it was a very faint positive. Took another one today (4 weeks) and it’s positive but i’m getting what feels like period pains & some brown discharge.

I don’t feel like calling my GP because when I called her about the mc, she literally told me just to wait for the bleeding to stop, she was so blunt considering I was so upset.

I’m so confused. Has anyone experienced this before?

It's awful but there's nothing you can do this early I don't think. It could be that the pregnancy survived the bleeding, or you're pregnant again, or the miscarriage didn't complete, the only thing you can do is stay calm look after yourself until you can ring the early pregnancy unit, they'll probably want to scan to see if you have a viable pregnancy.

Everything crossed for you, hopefully someone will come along with more advice or that have been there and had a healthy baby but I didn't want to read and run.
