I had a faint positive on my pregnancy test this morning. I last had sex 18 days ago. I've had an early miscarriage earlier this year and anticipating that this will go the same way as that as surely the line would be darker by now? We weren't ttc so I'm not sure when I ovulated or even the first day of my last period Confused with my successful pregnancies I've always had very strong lines. I know only time will tell but I'm just preparing myself if that makes sense

Morning @Twinklelittlestar1
So sorry to hear about that. What pregnancy test did you use? And how faint was the line? Did it show up in the time frame? Theoretically sperm can live for up to 5 days so say for example you ovulated 5 days later, that would make you 13DPO. Which is still early(ish). I'm currently pg with #2 and I got BFP with DS1 on a CB digital at 11DPO, and this time I got one on a CB digital at 10DPO. So for me personally, a faint line at 13DPO would be strange but everyone is different. Your best bet is to get an FRER and let us know what that looks like? Best of luck x

It's just a strip test, I always prefer these ones. If I was 13dpo I'm pretty sure the line would be darker for me as historically that's always been the case.

I'll test again tomorrow and see what happens but I am pretty sure it'll be another chemical

I mean it's an undeniable line so it's definitely no denying it. I would try to stay positive, as far as you know for now - you're pregnant. Just because you've had one MC that doesn't mean you're having another. To save yourself the worry, try to wait as long as possible before doing another test. Give your body a chance to recognise it, and in a couple of days you'll be able to judge any new tests a lot better.

I agree with @mrsmummy1111 you could just Be early. I'm 13dpo today. First line was yesterday on a FRER but the strip likes yours was blank. Then did CB this morning another positive on very faint on that. But none on the strips. I've heard on the strips some people don't show until a lot later on only faint to begin but then gets darker. I would either try another test or if you want to keep checking with the strips you should see the line get darker each day that passes.
