Hi Everyone

I’m new to all this so I’m just after a bit of help Smile

I’m on my second cycle of TTC after stopping my pill and having a withdrawal bleed. My friend recommended the clear blue advanced test so I had been using it albeit in the afternoon so wasn’t the best time... I was getting circles for the last 3 days.. decided to use it first thing in this morning and I got a Solid smiley face.. is it because I changed the time I’m testing or is the result accurate regardless..

Any help is really appreciated Smile thank you

I had the same this month, last month I had the usual two days flashing and then a solid smiley face.
This month straight to solid face - it does say to use FMU to test but I posted and another user said sometimes the hormone levels are too low to detect the flashing face.
Mine came when I went for reflexology that evening and then the next day a solid face and I wasn’t sure if that had anything to do with it.

I never had the flashy face, I get the solid smiley but that's it... I've always wondered why, I'm so confused!

I've only ever had the solid smiley and never the flashing one too. I had a solid smiley two weeks ago exactly and have been testing every other day since as I don't know what my cycle is as just come off the pill. Every time is has been a circle until this morning was a solid smiley again 🤔

It’s all just so confusing... especially when it’s your first time ttc.. it all looks so easy for my friends who are now into having their second babies...

The first time I used them, I didn't read the instructions properly and I went from trying one morning then one afternoon to trying the next morning and getting a solid smiley. This wasn't a correct one as the digi stock takes a baseline and then if there's an increase then it will bring the smiley but if you used diluted urine the time before this can affect the test. My advice is that you get internet cheapies (can buy loads for like £8 on amazon) and use them alongside. I used the digi that first month where it failed. I then used it the next month where I got pregnant and had a chemical pregnancy and the month after where I got successfully pregnant. That month I had about 9 days of flashing before a solid though, probably because my hormones were everywhere because of the chemical.

I think you'll need ICs for this month now as it's unlikely to reset the digi stick in time for ovulation.

This is just what I've gathered from using the CB tests. Someone else may have better knowledge.

Yeh that’s what I thought might of happened to be honest.. like you I really need to read the instructions for these things properly! I’ll just delete the result out of my app I think and see what it predicts for me...

Just posting again to say I did a pregnancy test after I got the second solid smiley two weeks after the first and it was positive! May now be miscarrying but will have to wait and see...

Awww @Vicz1991 I’m really sorry to hear that 😔 Fingers crossed it’s not the news you you fear and it all goes to plan!
