@lucyrp we use advocate on our cat and droncit for worms they are more expensive than over counter ones we get them from the vet but they work sooo much better you definitely don't want to risk a flea infestation! We do a payment plan from vets 4 pets for our cat it's £10 a month and you get monthly flea and worm treatments plus an annual health check and their annual injections so it's really good value x

@lucyrp we had fleas last year, absolute nightmare! Next door kept stealing our cat, so we fumed our whole house and hoovered like mad everyday but next door obviously wern't! They have moved out now and we have new lovely neighbors who don't steal our cat and we have managed to keep on top of it. I would definitely get her done incase, and worm her as well if her previous owners haven't? Might as well get her chipped if you end up at the vets 😅

@Cocoblue22 that not bad! @lucyrp I would also agree that the cheap drugs available at tesco or off the shelf (even at Pets at home) are crap. Need to be from vets or a SQP person.

@Missgoldilocks took a screenshot of all that info 😉 I looked into the method ages ago but got a bit overwhelmed by it and definitely wasn't keen on the transition with no poo/CO so all I did was switch to a sls free shampoo 🤦‍♀️ your lovely locks are inspiring me...

@Cocoblue22 someone from work suggested I use advantage flea and tick treatment as nothing else had worked for them. I think she's going to be a house cat having come from a farm into a town I don't think she'd be very good at being in a town 🙈 in which case I'm right in thinking she wouldn't neeed to be flead as often ?

@blodyn91 I defo don't want fleas 😭 I was thinking about chipping, she defo needs her injections at some point too. How much is microchipping ?

@katao yeah sometimes it can come across as a bit of a hype! But you don't have to not shampoo to have healthy hair! I find that too ott for me and my hair loses volume and gets itchy meh! Main points that really help in the beginning is protecting your hair at night, using free of shit products basically lol deep conditioning and protein treatments just start at that! I didn't do protein treatments till a year in but my hair really loves them, everyone is different though so trial and error with that. (tip though, if you do a protein treatment aphogee is a great one, mix it with a deep conditioner then dry it into your hair, so much better that way!)
Honestly just do what you can in the beginning and once you start to see change you'll be driven for more! Lol I'm still shocked sometimes when I look in the mirror haha hoping I have a little girl to pass my knowledge to 😂😂

@lucyrp ours is a village/town cat, they catch it off each other and from long grass. Worse than the farm cats 🙈 We have used advantage this time. Not sure of cost, you might get that done when you nuture her 🤷🏼‍♀️

@lucyrp ours always was a house cat, spot on did it for us, but only every 3/4 months needed, unless he went to the cattery, missed it one time, it took 3 months to completely get rid of the fleas
Cd19 here and starting to feel cramps, so probably bad news this cycle, I am starting to think it won't happen, so no need to poas, just enjoy bd and Oreo choc, we'll have to decide when to call it a day, we initially said to try till Xmas, but this is cycle 10 already

I decided to book a hotel break in Scotland that includes a bottle of prosecco, for September. Hoping I will be pregnant and not able to drink the prosecco but at least if I have 2 more months without success, I can drown my sorrows with it. For some reason the deal states that the prosecco cannot be substituted with soft drinks 🙃 makes no sense at that would surely cost them less. My husband will just have to enjoy the bottle on his own if it happens 😆

And the f**k boy saga continues - woke up to a high temp this morning instead of a dip as expected. Now I can't decide if the wine I had last night messed up my temps, if it means I ovulated last night or if it means I haven't ovulated at all potentially. I guess my next two temps will be telling 😅.

@LaceyMermaid yep we were wrapping presents last night from us for DS after his party, me pretty pissed, DH not as he was the driver, I've still got card to write this morning but didn't want to do that drunk as I write something about the year in each card for memories.

Think I'm about caught up, sorry for not responding to each, DS party yesterday afternoon/night was fab, my wonderful friend who carried him for us came with her family & it was so good to see them having not seen them since feb & miscarriage & everything. Was lovely for them to be with our families too.

His actual birthday today though he's just waking up so DH off & we are off to an animal park later

AF has basically left the building (only just though) & DH been proper horny for past 2 days & ive said no cos fully on....I was then horny yesterday...got DS to nap & said "I'm off in the shower wanna join me?"...sorry love I've just wanked 😳🙄. However, he did join me & had recovered!
Another steamy session last night & we really need to start using those condoms now having got one out last night then kinda lay on top of it...

I did get a funny look the other day in boots buying my folic acid/pregnancy tablets & condoms 😂🤣

@Franklydear if it makes you feel better there's 23 years different between me and my brother, and 25 between me and my sister (she's 2, he's 4). And their birthdays are 4th March and 18th March, and my dads is the 14th 🤣🤣🤣

@lucyrp in theory yeah if she's a house cat the chance of her picking things up is smaller although things like fleas can be carried in on your clothing etc but it's rare. Also cats do love to go out and they are curious and can often escape through windows etc. If there's a local vets 4 pets near you I 100% recommend that plan as her annual injections cost a fair bit and they are all included too. You should deffo get her chipped and spayed when old enough unless you want more kittens? This advocate the way it works when the fleas bite the cat it makes them infertile so they can't reproduce and their life cycle is pretty short so then they don't multiply. With previous cats I've used other flea and worm treatments and they don't work well and if you get fleas in a building they are a nightmare to get rid of they make me feel 🤢 skin is crawly now thinking about them! X
