Hi everyone
I know shouldn’t be testing this early I’m 10 DPO but with the BFN feel like I’m out for another month. No symptoms just feel absolutely starving today which is probably a sign of AF being on her way.
We’ve been very relaxed about TTC at first very much a ‘see what happens’ attitude but now it’s been 5 or 6 cycles with no luck and it’s starting to get to me. Anyone else in a similar position?

I don't want to get your hopes up but I say you're not out until AF shows. With my first I tested the day before I was due on and got a BFN. Tested again the next day and got a BFP.

Have you thought about using OPKs to track your ovulation? I know you're taking a relaxed approach but if it's getting you down it may be worth a try. I began using OPKs because I was 12 days late one month and was convinced I was pregnant. But I must have ovulated much later than I thought. I decided after that to start tracking ovulation just with OPKs. I didn't tell DP when I was ovulating so as not to put the pressure on but it helped me know when it was the best time to DTD more.

Yep!
Im cd30 & had a bfn (ic, 20m sensitivity) at cd28!
My cycles have been upto 36 days (last year & not ttc) but have almost come down to a normal length over this year as have been ttc.
No signs af is on her way so will give it a few days before testing again.

@hypernova
Thanks for replying, for the first few months I was just tracking with Flo but for the last 2 cycles I bought some OPKs and starting using those. This month we DTD on the day of the positive and the following 2 days afterwards so felt a little more like we were ‘trying’ this month rather than going with the flow, so thought this might be it! Still hoping I’m not out but I just can’t see it.. even though it’s early days, during the TWW it feels all consuming! Glad to hear you got your BFP later on, I’ll try to be a little more patient and see if AF turns up Smile

@motherofdinosau
yes it’s definitely enough to drive you mad! For me the first few weeks of cycle are fine it’s just the last week waiting to see if AF shows her face which then gets to me. Hoping you get your BFP when you do test again! Are you trying for your first?

@Cosmo29
I read a good article with the pro's on doing early hcg testing from day 9 and it was very interesting!
Have a look at @storkacademy on instagram...she posts some really useful info about ttc!
Ive just done another test and it was negative...no of the usual signs of af though! Normally im riddled with acne, boob oain and mood swings.
No this is our third...we started trying after we got married but 3 months later my brother died in a car accident and the trauma from that prevented it from happening...took nearly 18 months alltogether!! She is now 5 ☺️
With our second, it took 1 cycle but i didnt get a bfp till af was over a week late.

How about you?
