Hoping someone can help and shed some light... since last Saturday I have been having positive ovulation tests every day. Has this happened to anyone else, if so what was the outcome?

Have you taken a pregnancy test?

Juno231 · 20/07/2020 09:53

What part of your cycle is this? Erratic LH levels like this are normally a sign of PCOS though - which is why OPKs are not recommended if you have it. Is this your first time using OPKs?

I thought I was in my luteal stage.. day 25.. been having positives for a week now.

Have you tried an HPT? You could potentially be pregnant and the LH test is picking up on the HCG. If you ovulated early (eg CD11/12) I can see this having started a week ago being in line with implantation?

Hey ladies thanks for your replies.. still getting positive opks and have been doing the cheapies and been getting faint positives but feeling really bummed as the progression doesn’t seem to be happening.. I’ll attach a picture would you be able to tell me all what you think?

Yes, sorry didn't explain myself properly following the original post.. still been getting positive opks and have been doing internet cheapies tests but scared about the line progression that it isn't progressing?? Any thoughts? Xxx
Kalecat · 24/07/2020 22:32

I agree, they're not really progressing at all, which they should be as HCG levels double every 48 hours. It's possible you had a chemical pregnancy - most people would never know they even had one as you typically only find out by testing early. Hopefully that's not the case for you. Keep testing!

Hi ladies, so sorry but I'm driving myself mad now! I had a negative first response test yesterday and this morning tested and got this, any thoughts? Period was due yesterday!

The ICs progression can often be difficult to spot until you're really far on in early pregnancy when they suddenly get darker. So a lack of progression on those wouldn't necessarily worry me, however you've had a negative FRER at least a week after your first IC positive, so I'm really sorry to say I'm pretty much sure it's a chemical pregnancy.

I hope I'm wrong but I would guess that your period will be late, but that it is likely to be in the next week.
