Hi all. Not sure if this thread is in the right category as I have so many questions!
I have been in a same sex relationship with my girlfriend for about 16 years now, and as I many relationships like ours, time went passed and i realized i am 37yo and this is probably last whistle to try and have a baby.
I would love to carry the child, and although I realized this might not be possible now and will be happy to consider adoption, I feel I must at least try.
I am healthy and ovulate regularly. I am only interested in artificial insemination and no contact donor.
I have set up accounts on coparents and coparentmatch recently however haven't made contact with anyone. I was wondering if anyone has similar experience? Have you used these sites or maybe got there differently? I want to leave clinics for now, due to costs and also as fresh sperm is more effective than frozen. Also, I want the process to involve as little external component as possible (clinics, doctors etc).
I am mostly worried about the actual "process" -how was it done, I am reluctant to use my own home- I worry someone would one day show up at my door and want to be involved? Am I unreasonable with this?
Any thoughts are welcome, thank you
