Does Anyone Get Extreme Fatigue The Day After Ovulation?

I came off the pill in April and this is my third cycle TTC. So far I've not been certain I am ovulating. This cycle I didn't get a positive OPK but the last 3-4 days I've had EWCM and my cervix is very high. My temp went up a little this morn but not as high as I might have expected for 1DPO.

This afternoon however I feel completely exhausted to the point that I'm just being useless and just want to sleep 😴 Which is unusual for me. Just wondering if this could be a sign that ovulation has occurred and if anyone else gets this?

It's not a symptom I've ever heard of. But perhaps you didn't have a good night's sleep last night? When we're focused on / stressed about something such as ovulation when TTC it can definitely mess with our sleep cycles.

Just saw your post on active. I am way past having kids- but I always am completely exhausted around ovulation and always have been. Completely wiped out.

@Curiosity101 I slept 10 hours last night 🙈 I think from what I can understand it's possibly from the sudden drop in estrogen, which hopefully sugguests I've ovulated, but also could be my body just giving up and preparing for AF!

@pooiepooie25 thanks for replying. It's such hard work trying to predict ovulation post-pill. I'm currently on CD32 and didn't ovulate until CD33 last cycle. Did you find you were exhausted on the day of ovulation or straight after? Wondering if we should DTD today just to be sure but think OH is knackered too as he's had a busy day so might struggle to convince him/don't feel like it myself! EWCM has disappeared but cervix is still really high x

I have always been shattered for a few days before and during ovulation and always had and still get ovulation pains. So made it easier to know when I was ovulating when I got pregnant.

@pooiepooie25 thanks ☺️ Am hoping my temp continues to rise tomorrow and then should be able to confirm ovulation was yesterday. Think if ovulation was today we're probably out this month as DTD Tuesday & Wednesday but then skipped Thursday & Friday as had family to stay, keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏼

@MintGreenLife I also always get really tired after ovulation, no idea why?
