@MrsK21 that's good, mine had slowed down and since I got my hair cut it's pretty much stopped which I'm so so pleased about. My partner got back from work not long ago so we have just come up to Harlow, to go to B&M etc! I had a tiny tinge when I went for a wee before I left but that's it. How about you? How's your day? Xx

Northernsoul90 · 22/07/2020 13:43

@MichT4 That's really positive!! Most probably ovulated then ☺️ xx

Welcome @DancingGiraffe I'm so sorry for your loss and that you've had a bit of a scare! Glad it's worked out okay though. Fingers crossed for you for this month 🤞🏼xx

@MrsK21 I used to do a bit of yoga and I really need to get back into a routine with it as I enjoyed it and it's nice for taking your mind off things. I also tried meditation last time I was ttc so could start that up again maybe. I need to just be consistent with it. Xx

Wishingfornumber2 · 22/07/2020 16:26

Just found out a friend is pregnant. I don’t know why but it’s really got to me today 😢. I was fine when another friend had her baby recently but this was out of the blue as didn’t know she was trying. I’m obviously happy for her but so jealous at the same time. I know some of you ladies have been in the same boat so just wanted to vent on here as got no one else to talk to about it other than my DH. Anyway hope you are all ok today. X

chloedancer897 · 22/07/2020 16:31

@Lollol86 much better today but getting quite a sharp pain on my right side. My periods are just so much different now after the MC. I'm going to ring my consultant and see if I can get checked out anyway just to make sure. How are you?x

MichT4 · 22/07/2020 16:42

@Wishingfornumber2 sorry to hear it's made you feel like that. It's really difficult when you are going through this, we've all been there and know how you feel. Vent here all you like

My super thick lining fuel has arrived. Just in time if I did ovulate

@VP91x
How are you? xx

TTC after MC - July 2020 (Thread 7)
Lollol86 · 22/07/2020 16:51

@chloedancer897 yea it's definitely worth getting it checked out. I'm ok thank you, period is practically over so just wanting to get on with trying again now.

chloedancer897 · 22/07/2020 16:54

@Lollol86 same! I'm really determined this month. I'm doing seed cycling, I've cut out caffeine, I'm going to take aspirin and progesterone cream after ovulation and using pre seed. I just want to give everything a go this month

VP91x · 22/07/2020 17:13

@MichT4 I was okay, but just had a little cry because I had a little bit more spotting/feeling crampy. Last month I had about 5 days of spotting before AF but obviously last month I didn't ovulate so that may have caused it. Just worried this will be the same this month. It would be almost okay if I just wasnt falling pregnant but it feels like not even get a chance. Spoke to the doctors and they said to ring back tomorrow morning to try and get an appt but I might just go down to the hosp if the small bleeds continue and see if maybe they'll do bloods or something. I hope I don't sound over dramatic.

@Wishingfornumber2 I'm sorry you're having a rough day, announcements are so tough. I hope you do something nice for yourself today. Sending you lots of love ❤️

@MichT4 trust me you don't want to be in London now it's like a ghost town half the cafes and coffee shops are closed ☹️ and the tube with a mask 😷 is honestly the worst thing ever in the heat but home now and OH has just started cooking my dinner as I missed lunch again. But I'm all good thanks just being patient waiting for next little milestones. Also that opk definitely looks like surge is over 🤞 will you test at all this month? x

@2020wish my 1st test at 13dpo looked quite similar to your last test so all looking good... and thanks probs sounds daft that it upset me walking past a building but just brings back so much. Ooh I'm also trying to watch my eating at the moment, but I do want to lose a bit of weight, I've put so much on since MC 😩

@VP91x if I hadn't been sick at 11dpo and ordered the FRER that day, I probably would've tested earlier I just knew I only had cheapie hcg tests and they wouldn't pick anything up earlier. I think Saturday would be good waiting for you, how you feeling? You don't sound over dramatic at all, it's a lot to go through. I'd really push for the day21 bloods if you can get your GP to do them as you're about the right time and they can at least confirm you ovulated and will take some pressure off. I'm still confident that this could be your month though xx

@Pugprincess i was ovulating around CD14 but after MC it was CD18 a few days after a nearly negative pregnancy test so could definitely still happen in the next few days x

MichT4 · 22/07/2020 17:19

@VP91x not dramatic at all. It's really hard when you know something just isn't normal for you, and I think we should be entitled to be at least listened to and taken seriously. Maybe ask for the progesterone test. Possibly that is low and causing the lining to shed a bit. Not sure if this is possible, but maybe the earlier ovulation has confused your progesterone slightly. Definitely stick with your gut feeling on it, you've made the first step by calling today so keep on until you're seen. Should hopefully trigger them to push through your referral too.

BUT I must also add, this might all be ok, could still be linked to implantation, or even ovulation. So don't give up hope yet xx

MrsK21 · 22/07/2020 17:20

@vp91x I'm so sorry you're feeling like this. Getting checked out for these bleeds sounds like a good idea. We know our bodies best and especially after a loss and TTC are so much more in tune with what feels normal or not for us.
I really do still feel hopeful for you that it's IB rather than AF spotting but I completely understand your concerns. It's really tough and if after this cycle you think there's an ovulation issue, maybe push your GP for that scan they'd mentioned previous cycle. Really hope you feel better after a little cry hun xxx

MichT4 · 22/07/2020 17:22

@SmileyT ok I won't be too jealous then. What's for dinner?
Jury's out on testing this month. I think I'm going to say no, because I have a perfect opportunity to wait as long as possible given they say 4-6 weeks. The longer I can hold off, IF by some miracle I was lucky enough to catch, I might save myself the anxiety of the early days.
I'm worried to jinx it by even getting ahead of myself and allowing the thought to cross my mind xx

MichT4 · 22/07/2020 17:23

By the way this pure pomegranate malarkey is brutal 😂

Runnergirl1 · 22/07/2020 17:30

Hi. Can I join please. Had a rough few weeks. So went for a scan at 8weeks measuring 2weeks behind so I knew what the outcome would be. However told to come back 2weeks later - same result. Then got referred to hospital on Friday and told more or less I would miscarry. I then started bleeding - today I believe was the day I passed everything g but back In for a scan Friday - sorry if this is tmi. I feel ok now and to be honest just want to start again trying for our little family. I currently have no children, my partner has one to a previous relationship but I want one to call our own. Anyway hoping to get the ball rolling after I finish bleeding - has everyone waited until after their first period or before? I know the recommend to wait until after first period for dating purposes but feel like I just want to get on with it.
Thanks

Northernsoul90 · 22/07/2020 17:36

@VP91x You don't sound over dramatic at all, sorry you've been feeling down. ❤️ Hopefully you can get an appointment. I still think it could be implantation related 🙏🏼 but I would feel the same as you xx

@Wishingfornumber2 Sorry you had a down day today. Announcements are really hard to deal with... hope you are okay xxx

SmileyT · 22/07/2020 17:43

@MichT4 I'm having pasta with chicken in a homemade tomato and basil sauce (with some veg thrown in for nutrients 🤣) I think holding off testing is always the best plan. Wouldn't it be great if you could find out your pregnant and not have the anxious wait for AF date etc. I feel like I've been waiting forever because I tested early this time 🤦🏾‍♀️ But remember you can't jinx it thinking about what could be won't mean somebody upstairs takes it away from you. Also I never had the pomegranate on its own, I had it more like squash like 100ml of pomegranate and then topped up with water much better for me 👌🏾 back on the sofa now just about to watch new girl xx

@Runnergirl1 I'm so sorry for your loss and especially the waiting that you've had must've made it even harder. I think most of us decided to try before AF my Dr said there was no reason to wait apart from it makes it easier to date a new pregnancy and if you haven't had a negative test it might confuse things when you test when you think next AF is due and a few ladies here have got their BFPs before AF arrives so there is definitely hope. Hope you are being looked after at home and taking it easy xx

MichT4 · 22/07/2020 17:47

@SmileyT you're right, doesn't hurt to have positivity about the situation. Yeah I think I'll wait as long as possible, see if AF arrives, and if 6 weeks pass then test? I dunno
I'm on the sofa watching new girl too! Your dinner sounds amazing. I love pasta!
Might have to dilute the juice. Maybe I was meant to 🙊

VP91x · 22/07/2020 17:54

@MichT4 @SmileyT @Northernsoul90 @MrsK21 thank you so much for being so kind. Just feel like last cycle is potentially repeating itself except I actually ovulated this time. Last month I had spotting from CD25 until AF came on CD30. Today I'm CD24 so that's why I think maybe it is the same thing happening again 😩. The only thing maybe getting me to think it's different is because of the bleed the other night which I've never had before. If it continues to tomorrow then, I might just go down to the hosp to see if they can get me some quicker results on the bloods instead of waiting until I'm into a whole new cycle for any news. My temps might also show something different too. Just feeling a bit helpless xx

@Runnergirl1 sorry you're finding yourself here. There is so much support here. Everyone is different so when your ready to try go for it. EPU advises me to wait for first period and to be fair I didn't feel mentally prepared to try again for a few months. In the mean time look after yourself and give yourself time to heal xx

@Wishingfornumber2 I'm in the same boat a close friend who wasn't even trying just announced she's pregnant. Cue my tears and how unfair life is sometimes. Hope your ok xx

@VP91x not unreasonable to ask for an apt you know your body better than anyone. FX for you it is IB xx

Lollol86 · 22/07/2020 18:02

@chloedancer897 does pro seed have any benefit? I thought it was just a lubricant? What's seed cycling? Xx

Rainbowhope11 · 22/07/2020 18:19

@VP91x I'm so sorry you're feeling down lovely. I say it's better to be proactive and try and get to the bottom of things because then you at least know how to find a solution to the problem.

I also woke up to a small bleed this morning so I'm as confused as you are.

Sending you a big hug Xx

2020wish · 22/07/2020 18:33

Welcome to the newbies. Sorry you have found urself here but this thread is very supportive.

@SmileyT i wouldnt min losing a few myself. My bmi is 33 now. I use to be so slim last year. Have u any thoughts on what you are going to try?

@VP91x :( must be so frustrating for u. Ur not dramatic at all. I still have hope there is a bfp in a few days for u tho xx

Northernsoul90 · 22/07/2020 18:34

@Runnergirl1 So sorry for your loss ❤️ I bet the waiting was brutal. As @SmileyT said I think the general reason that doctors advise to wait is for dating reasons, apart from if you have been told to wait specially for a medical reason. I had an mva procedure for a mmc 6 weeks ago and have only just got a negative pregnant test. I've decided to not wait for af and just ttc when I next ovulate, I feel like I can wait any longer. Everyone is different it just depends on your body and when you feel ready 😊. I hope you find lots of help and support on the thread xx

MichT4 · 22/07/2020 18:38

Hi @Runnergirl1

Sorry to hear your story, and welcome to the group. I think the girls have covered my view, I agree it's a personal choice as to when you feel ready but unless told otherwise, there's no reason to wait. It's just for dating.
My first MC we didn't track or 'try' but we weren't actively preventing either. This time I am tracking and trying to catch ovulation but the first cycle is always a little unknown so just seeing how it plays out.
Hope you get your rainbow soon xx

Northernsoul90 · 22/07/2020 18:46

If anyone is feeling a bit lost or hopeless something which has helped me is setting myself mini goals kind of. I think so many of us feel a bit better about things when we have a plan/time scale in our minds.

I've decided if I see no peak on opks and no af within 2 weeks I'm going to contact my GP as that will be 8 weeks since mc. If I do get a peak but no af or positive test 2 weeks after the peak I'll contact then. I'm giving myself another a couple of weeks as I'm only just getting a negative so my body is definitely still readjusting (even though it's now technically cd 45 😱). Just telling myself that this is my plan has made me feel a bit less overwhelmed and panicky as it doesn't just feel like weeks and weeks stretching out in front of me. Hopefully this might help someone 😊
